This RAM definitely sped up my computer and made the fan run smoother, but since installation, I've gotten a BSOD about 4 times.

This is RAM. It worked as RAM should. It does RAMMY things. I got it at a good price and am happy with my purchase.

I bought this assuming that it would work inside of my 2009 MacBook Pro but it would not. It does show and thereby making me believe that all would be well but with in a few hours, those few hours being less than six, I kept getting a fatal error and a reboot on my computer. I pulled out these and replaced with my old ram and all was well. As for recommending I'm going to say yes but only if it's not going into a MacBook Pro. I hope you understand because there was nothing wrong with the ram it just isn't right for me and my MacBook Pro. That's why I gave it four stars and not five.

This is good, fast RAM for a great price. This is for my home laptop since i needed more RAM for video editing. Great buy.

Needed to upgrade the memory on an old(ish) HP laptop. This memory popped in, was recognized and works flawlessly. I have never had a bad stick from PNY.

PNY makes great memory. I was working on a desktop that had bad RAM. Found out that it took laptop memory. This product worked like a champ as my solution.

Going for masters degree and I had an older computer that still worked. Needed more RAM. This was perfect fix and geek squad installed it for free.

I honestly can't tell the difference if this product helped me or not, but my computer seems to be running better. No problems as of yet and easy to install.

Added this extra stick to my laptop because of Chrome's memory leaks. Laptop doesn't slow down anymore when I have a lot of programs open.
