Good price ram but I only had one slot in my laptop

I had to return these chips because the package says 1.5 volts but the chips themselves say 1.35 volts. DDR3 has been around for about 10 years. These chips are for the newest DDR3L laptops and will NOT work with older computers that need the standard DDR3 1.5 voltage chips. I had the laptop with me and opened the package right in the store in front of the Best Buy associate. It appears to be a supply chain issue. They said they would make the manufacturer aware of the problem.

I was told that this was the right memory for my iMac. It fit my computer but made a beeping sound. Brought my iMac to the Apple store. Confirmed it was the wrong speed. Needed to order somewhere else since Best Buy did not have.

I have no complaints, works great with my laptop..

Product was easy to install and worked as expected.

Its not PNY's fault but I bought these and later found out they arent compatible with my computer. I can't comment on their function, but just know if you have a Mac these arent for you.

So I bought this to upgrade on my laptop but realized one of my ram ports were messed up so I had to replace the whole mother board. So i decided to return this item and put that money for my mother board.

About the same as every other ram out there. It costs about the same as comparable RAM and works as expected. There were no surprises good or bad with this product. It will do what you expect it to do, No more, no less.

I bought 4 of these at the same time. 1 of the 4 was bad. Tried it in another laptop with the same results. The $15 I spent on it wasn't worth me driving 45 minutes to return so I ate the cost.

Was very disappointed that I purchased these. I put them into my iMac and then the trouble started. The chips not only caused my computer to crash. I had to take it to the Apple store for a fresh install because it damaged the existing install. Top it all off had to spend almost 4 hours in the Apple store trying to save family pictures. I went to return the chips but the packaging was discarded and I was not able too. Very disappointed.

Definitely not as easy to install laptop memory as desktop... Not by a long shot. The Geek Squad help me install it (for free). Memory works fine.

Check to see if your computer has one or two memory stick slots before ordering a memory stick to increase the memory. Mine had one slot so I needed to order one 8gb stick instead of a 4gb stick ( for a 2nd slot that wasn't there. Also make sure the memory stick that Best Buy carries will fit your computer. The 8gb did not fit my Lenovo purchased at Best Buy. So that memory stick was returned.

Had to return to the store. It would not work. Not sure if it was compatible with the computer.

Does not work on a Mac, and, in fact, produces some of the strangest symptoms of incompatibility I've ever seen. Usually with incompatible RAM the computer won't post up. With this ram, it'll run, but shut down on it's own pretty consistently, and corrupted every hard drive connected to it.

Each time I try PNY memory, I run into a problem of some sort. I always end up trying returning it after a couple of speed difference changes. Going with a brand like corsair or crucial I have never had a problem with. Same speed as PNY but PNY ALWAYS give me a problem. With different brand laptops etc.

I went to best buy looking for a certain ram chip. they didn't have it. i went online. i chatted with a geek squad guy or someone from best buy online. He called the store near my house and geek squad told him that the ram up top would work for my computer. I got home i put it in and it didn't work. I haven't had time to bring it back. I don't even know if they will take it bacxk.but geek squad said it work.; it wasnt the one i was looking for and i trusted them. i used gift card from aunt she asked me whaty i bought with it and i told her memory for my pc but i didn't tell her didn't work. my computer still is slow im stuck with it till i can get back to best buy and return this one if they will take it back and buy the right one

didn't work with the model laptop I have, even though I was assured it would.

I brought my computer in and showed fhem what I had. The guys at geek squad sold me the wrong ram. :-(
