Didn't improve my computer significantly. Unsure if due to compatability or something else.

The RAM isn't actually clocked to the speeds that it says so it won't actually work in a Mac despite what the friendly staff thought, ad despite what the box says. Not blaming Best Buy, but the product is misleading and inaccurate.

I bought 2 to upgrade my Dell laptop to 8GB. Next day my laptop began rebooting every few minutes. Removed one of the sticks and replaced it with one of the original sticks. Now I have 6GB instead of the 8GB that I wanted. Can't say I'd recommend PNY RAM.

This memory is not compatible with my Asus laptop.

Does the job as any RAM module should do. Nothing extraordinary about this product.

I purchased 2-4gb PNY ram for a new (unopened) Mac mini (late 2012 version) to be installed by geek squad at store. When I arrived at home and started the computer there were problems from the start. I found out later that PNY memory is not certified for Mac by Apple. The problems I had ranged from slow changes when opening apps to not being able to stay on websites and even encountered a couple of kernel panics. I took it back to BB reinstall the original Ram which they did and asked them to refunded the money I had paid for the Ram. They did and I went to a nearby Apple certified service outlet and had the certified Ram installed. The machine has performed flawlessly since.

still cannot find the right ram for my pc. although this product may work on other pc's , I've been having a lot of trouble locating anything that is compatible with my acer computer.

Found it on sale! The geek squad member I spoke to thought it might work, but didn't seem sure. It ended up not working, wrong speed. But they took the return wth no issues which was great. I found some other (non Apple) memory that worked.

The Geek squad selected this for my Toshiba which was also purchased at BB, didn't work! Original ram works fine. They don't stock ram for older computers.

I purchased this to add RAM memory to my iMac (mid-2011 model). After several days, programs started crashing and eventually my Mac wouldn't boot up. After 2 trips to the Apple Store Genius Bar and 3 phone calls to Apple Care (and 3 wipe/re-installs of my OS), we finally determined that it must be the RAM. I bought a different brand of RAM, and now all is well. While this RAM *should* work in an iMac, apparently it does not, or at least the RAM I purchased from this manufacturer did not.

this type of ram not compatible with most i7 laptops tried it on 5 different ones even went and exchanged it for new one still didn't work

I came to Best Buy to get some extra memory for my daughters computer. The gentleman that assisted me looked at the computers I had brought with me, and then looked up what type of memory would be compatible for both computers. I bought one for each computer only to find out later after taking the computer apart, that the memory he suggested was the right one WAS NOT THE RIGHT ONE! I will be bring this back for the correct one this Friday Feb. 21st for the right ones!

I bought two of these 4 Gb memories for my iMac. One from the first purchase caused the iMac to not boot. A replacement has worked intermittently but when left in sleep mode, I must force a shutdownto wake up, and I get a "kernel panic" report from Apple on why it shut down. Their advice board states that it is the memory. removing the SDRAM has cleared up the problem.

Been running this for over a year and it has been exceptional!

contrary to store associates / reviewers, this product is not compatible with an apple macbook pro.
