Simple to install but little noticeable improvement. I assumed it was my computer but I bought name brand memory and found noticeable improvement.

Good decision to upgrade the laptop. Am able to run more applications at the same time and just switch between them without slowing down the system.

I bought 2 modules to upgrade my Macbook and it works great. Boots up much faster and all that jazz. Can't complain one bit.

The main issues are this memory modules price and the product description. This is 2019, both Samsung and Kingston sell modules like this for $21.82 to $28.86, with a higher premium price being only $36, and this is only 4GB of RAM. And the product is advertised as being 1.6GHz and yet it states it operates at 1300 MHz.

Always had good luck with PNY products, again they have pleased.

Easy to install, no worries at all PC recognized the new memory right away.

Bought this to upgrade from 3gb to 8gb on my Windows 7 laptop. Made sure that the os would support that much ram and that the PNY ram was compatible; actually double checked so I would run into an issues. Got it home, installed easy (have installed ram in the past so I knew what to do) and booted up the computer. And the trouble begins. Boot up starts super slow, then proceeds to a Windows error screen. Apparently there is a disk error and Windows has to repair the disk. This repair corrected nothing. Removed the PNY ram and put the oem ram back in everything is back to normal. Definitely disappointed and will definitely stay away from PNY products. Ram upgrade should be one of the easiest upgrades when it comes to computers and not cause disk errors. I don't know why I continue to buy products from Best Buy since they seem to sell so much junk.

I bought this memory card online, first I tried to install it in my Samsung laptop, originally with 2GB memory, a blue screen kept coming, was no way to fix that. Then installed it into my son's Samsung laptop, originally 4GB memory. First the pc became great, very fast, olso pc rating became 5.9 which is very good, the pc kept shutting down on some gaming websites, first thought this was because of antivirus, tried every possible thing, then the problem was solved completely by taking this dumb memory card out of the pc. I can't return coz already been more than 60 days and I throwed away the receipt. I paid $20 for nothing except for headache!!

Ordered two for my laptop. One of two was open/used!!! Have to order for replacement, the replacement was sealed but it is bad from stock. Keep crashing my laptop. Have to order another replacement for the replacement unit.

Good little stick of RAM if you are trying to breath new life into an old laptop. Getting 2 sticks helps out a lot on something old!

Failing after a year started as blue screens and not recognized short time after. Without receipt = no warranty Got it as a gift = no warranty Oem = no warranty Purchase with gift card and misplace receipt = no warranty House burn down with all paperwork = no warranty Not good at keeping records =- no warranty I have been in contact with PNY and can you tell they have told me without the receipt they can do nothing for me? COMPLETE WAISTE of a… well the thought of a warranty anyway. and yes there support people get smart with you and quote other companies warranties and state see they do they same thing! WAY TO STAND OUT!

The first pair failed and I had to return it. The second set worked great. Easy to install, works great.
