Good value at the clearance price. Worked fine when upgrading memory in a HP laptop. Went with PNY because it has a lifetime warranty (although I hope to never have to use it).

I can't post any relevant photos. But, it appears everyone makes this mistake. Even the stock item at the store didn't mention the difference in model number. Instead of model (SK Hynix 8GBU1X08JGGG39-12-K). I received the Model: 8GBU2X04JGGG39-12-K which did not qualify for my laptop. Hewlett Packard HP-15 laptop. I have a product link, similar(https://www.pny.com/performance-ddr4-2400mhz-notebook-memory). Luckily for me the memory is going into a mixture with the NUC6i7KYK. Buyer beware! Make sure that the position of the circuit is by-8. Unless supported as by-16. I assume it came out of some kit. The other 2 I have that were ordered online match the description 100%.

This PNY works great for my older HP pavilion 15 laptop. It’s not the fastest RAM, but it matched the spec of my other 8GB stick. So now my system has 2 sticks of 8GB Ram at 2400MHz. Note: This is Jedec RAM. Best Buy had a great price for this item when I bought so great deal overall!

PSA, this SKU does not specify the actual part number of the RAM module that you will get. I bought this two times, and the second one didn't work in my laptop (Thinkpad L380 yoga). I thought it was DOA, so I exchanged it for another one, which also didn't work. As far as I can tell, it has something to do with the density and number of the actual memory chips on the module. The part number of the one that worked was 8GBU1X08JGGG39-12-K, and the one that didn't was 8GBU2X04JGGG39-12-K The 8GBU2X04JGGG39-12-K module also caused system instability in another DELL laptop that I tried it in. The SKU and specs between the two are identical, but the number and density of the chips used is different. I'm not sure if it's the fault of Best Buy or PNY, but this shouldn't happen.

Never worked. Bought to upgrade a new laptop. Thought it was the laptop that was broken. Turned out it was the memeory the whole time. Too late to return it by the time i figured it out.

I increased the RAM on my laptop from 4 to 16GB using 2 of these. They were fast and easy to install and now my budget laptop operates like a premium laptop. No issues. Plugged them in and turned it on. These really are an economical way to get the most out of your laptop.

Very nice. Easy to install and use. I was very happy to get this at Best Buy. It was on sale and was a good value. I'd repurchase it if I needed more RAM.

Windoze 10 computer came with 4 G memory and was slow when using 2 monitors and multi-tasking. Swapped out memory card to this 8 G and computer runs considerably faster. Wanted 16 G but they were sold out and didn't know if/when more were coming. Price was considerably less than competitors. Installed surprisingly easily in a 'small' computer (not a traditional tower with lots of room. Total installation time (from disconnect computer, open it up, replace card, set computer back up again and get running) was about 30 minutes.

This ram was a perfect match for a laptop that came with 8gb onboard. Increased performance and allowed more browser tabs to be open without any hiccups or hesitations.

Great cost-effective upgrade for a laptop low on RAM. Extremely easy to install (like all RAM, not just this one in particular) and if you're not sure then there are hundreds of videos on YouTube that'll show you how. I personally bought two for my wife's Asus laptop that came with only 8GB of RAM and it's a night-and-day difference.

Bought this for an ASRock Deskmini, which has a desktop style RAM slot in a Mini-STX form factor. Fit a little snug, but worked just fine. No compatibility issues and the system is working great. Speed matches up with the Core i3 8100 I paired it with and XMP settings set the right speed in the system BIOS automatically. Easy as it gets!

Very well priced and very good speed and reliability

For my needs this is excellent and rock solid. I put this into my media server and I don’t need it to be super fast or have unbelievably low latency. This thing has been super stable and just plays well.

So easy that this old great grandad can install it. My old 4GB laptop got a new lease on life by installing this 8GB module. Just removed 4 screws on the bottom panel and snapped this in the open slot. Runs better than new with 12GB of RAM.
