very easy install , installed in my computer and noticed a huge difference i was at 4gb and then i installed two of these to be at 16 and it made a huge difference i then also installed an ssd drive and that was even better i highly recommend this item

A fine stick of RAM, it does exactly what it says on the box

I purchased two PNY 8GB DDR4 memory sticks for my failing older laptop. Replacing the old memory went smoothly and my laptop is working better than ever before! It is becoming popular to repurpose older technology, and these PNY memory sticks make it very affordable! I'd buy these again!

This item was the perfect choice. It does the job.

I have a 4GB Lenovo tablet (ideapad 130-15AST) that is used for college and browsing. With only 4 open tabs, task manager showed that the RAM was nearly maxed out. It would also slow down everything. With the new PNY 8GB ram upgrade, I could now have 2 separate windows open with a handful of tabs. It still has 2.7GB to spare. My CPU fan isn't running loudly at full speed as often anymore, either. Honestly, 4GB is just barely enough to get basic tasks done. These days, 8GB is the minimum required to effeciently run applications.

I both two of these to replace original 4 GM of RAM that my HP14dk0002dx. It took about 5 minutes to open the back (has to peel of plastic ribbons), pop out the old 4 GB and put in two new 8 GB. Laptop immediatelly recognized 16 GM of RAM.

Was on travel with my personal MSI GF63 8RC that only had only a single 8GB DDR4 2400 mhz SODIMM. SO I went to the local Best Buy in Laurel NJ to pick up this PNY SODIMM including an IFIXIT Kit so that I could use an opening tool to remove the bottom cover. Installed easily, system recognized it, and matched it fine for dual channel memory. It noticeably improved loading times and gaming on my World of Warcraft account. So happy that I purchased an MSI GF65 laptop for my grandson and am planning to get the same SODIMM at my Orange Park FL Best Buy to upgrade his to have the proper dual channel memory as well. This PNY memory worked Great. it was easy to install and has performed flawlessly for the last 10 days. I do not expect any issues because I'm already passed the "infant mortality period" for new electronics.

This was made for that user in mind that wonders if its gonna be compatible and well you wont have any issued with the compatibility at all i installed in my laptop and it took off with no issues .. I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A WELL PRICED QUALITY RAM!

Needed to upgrade my wife's HP laptop from 4 gb of ram to 8 gb of ram. BestBuy was the cheapest and easy solution. Geek Squad did all the work and tech support on the laptop and it works great know for Zoom Meetings.

My laptop was running a bit sluggish. Memory was getting tight. I added this stick of RAM to the machine and it sped up considerably. Now there is plenty of memory workspace for all. The laptop and I are much happier now.

I bought a Acer - Nitro 5 - 15.6" FHD 144Hz IPS Gaming Laptop – Intel 11th Gen i5 - GeForce GTX 1650 - 8GB DDR4 - 256GB SSD for my kids for Christmas 2021. And they were kinda disappointed as it didn’t have enough Ram to run there games. So we picked this bad boy up and popped it in and Boom just like that they were able to play there favorite game!!!

Despite months of fine-tuning settings and software on my 4 gig RAM Lenovo Windows 10 laptop, it still slogged along like walking a cat on a leash. However, after upgrading at BB to the max of 8 gigs, the overall performance, including snappy app and web page loading, improved significantly. A caution, however - the Geek Squad member, "helping" me to upgrade, insisted on tagging me for a service charge $20 more than I was guoted before I brought in my computer for the upgrade. Before I paid I asked another GS associate to check their service charge schedule. Sure enough, the fee for RAM replacement was less, and my bill was adjusted down.

Good memory. Helped speed up my laptop. I upgraded from 4GB to 8GB to address a significant slowdown in my computer. Mission success. It is my opinion that 8GB is the minimum you need for Windows 10.

Bought a pair of these to upgrade my HP 15 laptop that came with factory 4gb of ram to max it out at 16gb. Immediately recognized 16gb with no hiccups after install. Runs as snappy as if it was new again.

Yep, totally worth it. Easy as hell to install too, popped the bottom off my hp and there was the RAM drive staring me in the face, carefully popped it in and now even Adobe programs open lightning fast. Worth it.
