    Upgraded the Ram on my Dell laptop with this. There are two slots for memory and only one was used. Adding an additional 8GB has really helped the speed loading some programs.

    I used this with a new SSD to make my son's old laptop better than new. I upgraded the RAM to 16GB total and with the new SSD it's pretty quick.

    The laptop had a single 4GB DIMM. I was able to add the 8GB DIMM to the second slot and things are moving much better now.
