Lots of off computer storage.

If my system ever crashes and the backup does not work to restore, i have everything saved separate from the computer, and keep my important stuff in a case that fits them, so i can travel with them also.

Already own several flashdrives that are filled to capacity. They don't have half the storage space this item has.

Does not do well under a heavy load

It heats up quite a bit. While browsing files in file explorer the drive tends to be unresponsive quite a bit.
