    While it does what I need it to do it is so much slower than what it is rated at I am very disappointed. It claims to read at 1100 megabytes a second and write at 1000 I have not seen it even come close to 200 megabytes. Every time I transfer to or from it, I see a speed of 100 megabytes at peak, but it usually stays arounds 10 to 15 megabytes. The cord that comes with it is too small to be of use I had to buy another one that was longer that didn't have the SSD on a corner and not lying flat. The HHD I had before transferred around a stead 80 to 90 megabytes. Too bad I no longer have it. Safe to say I will not be buying this bread again.

    From what I've been told, SSD is more reliable than other choices. This little SSD external HD does the job and it type-C seems to be faster
