    I needed a 1 TB flash drive as an additional backup for my data. That's why I purchased this. Before this, I've had Patriot Supersonic (Prime) 250 GB and I've been very happy with its consistency in performance. So I had high hopes for this PNY based on the marketing read/write speeds and positive reviews. I'm not sure if my sample was defective or not, but I could BARELY reach triple digit speeds (read or write) which is extremely far from how it was supposed to perform! I tested various groups of data with different sizes (a few MBs to several GBs), used every port of a 2024 G16 to try this product. However, the results wouldn't improve. On the quality aspect, even though it had a good heft to it, the sliding mechanism was extremely hard and uncomfortable to operate. At that point, my only option was to return this product. I'll probably try and go for the 1 TB version of Patriot Prime next!

    Way overpriced thumb drive. Runs slow, runs real hot, and can't buy a nvme drive so stuck with pny junk

    I tried using this device to save various things from documents to PS5 update files and it has not worked. I even reformatted the entire drive multiple times and it hasn’t worked for me. Would not recommend at this time.
