This SSD was priced well when I compared it to competitors. Given the speed, amount of storage, and price it was a no brainier. So far I haven't have any issues with the SSD. The SSD wasn't inside a static free bag and one side of the SSD isn't protected very well inside the box. The speed is as I expected it to be. I would recommend this to a friend.

This thing performs like a charm, it has very high read and write speeds, a high capacity and it costs the same as 1 TB NVMe from Samsung. It’s easy to install and setup, I personally did a clean Windows 10 installation and it just worked. The packaging is bad, it doesn’t seem to protect very good what’s inside.

In my HP Envy 795-0020 PC (16 gb RAM, i7-8700 CPU), First I installed 2 tb PNY SSD in a PCIe3 x4 -> NVMe adaptor. I am able to successful cloning the original M.2 SATA 250 gb SSD located in the mother board M.2 slot to the PNY drive. Subsequently replaced the M.2 SATA 256 g SSD with the 2tb PNY drive into the M.2 slot of the mother board without any problem. PNY drive performance was exceptionally fast as advertised. I was looking for a 2TB NVME SSD to add to my Alienware m17 R2 gaming laptop which only came with 512MB of storage. Some 2TB NVME drives from other brands cost almost double the price, so I was skeptical of the speed and quality of this PNY drive. I'm happy to report that there was really nothing to worry about -- this drive is excellent and nearly as fast as the most popular retail NVME drives from Samsung. CrystalDiskMark reports sequential read speeds of nearly 3,500 MB/s and sequential write speeds of almost 3,000 MB/s. Random 4K read/write speeds are slightly slower than Samsung drives, but it's absolutely not noticeable in day-to-day use. Bottom line: If you're looking for a high-capacity NVME drive to expand the storage of your laptop or desktop computer, this should be at the top of your list. The value is nearly unmatched at this storage capacity/price point. Tip for Alienware m17 R2 users: You will have to tweak some settings to get your system to recognize this as a secondary drive. Once you install it in the second NVME slot, you will need to change your system's SATA operation mode from RAID to AHCI. This requires changing the setting in the BIOS as well as running a command via Command Prompt in Windows 10. Search Google for the following phrase and follow the instructions in the first article that appears: "SOLUTION: Switch Windows 10 from RAID/IDE to AHCI operation"

i purchased this drive as a second nvme drive in order to house my entire steam library on my gaming rig. After installing and uploading all my games, my system remains very snappy. system specs: MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI, RYZEN 5 5600X, 16GB G.SKILL 4000, 1TB WD-BLACK SN750, XFX MERC 319 BLACK EDITION 6900XT. For the price this has been a great drive. if price was a non issue i would go with faster PCIe 4.0 drive, like a WD-850, OR SAMSUNG PRO, although im not sure in real world application they would have made things faster for me. Note: aesthetically i prefer the comparable west dig drive sn750 and the samsung 3.0 models. but for the price, this was the best value for me. i caught this on a good sale.

Great Gen3 M.2 This is the first time I've used a pny m.2 ssd,the speeds are on point as advertised. I have 6 rgb fans and this helps keep it cool under load. I also have Sabrent Rocket 4TB Gen4 on my board but that one R/W speeds are double of this one. To make a long story short if your looking for a Gen3 M.2 i would go for this one. I got on sale for Black Friday $199 thanks for special Best Buy.

I replaced 512gb Samsung laptop drive with the 2tb PNY NVMe M2 SSD. Laptop is now much more useful for video processing and booted up well after cloning the original SSD. Bought a USB SSD enclosure for the M2 SSD and clone software. Enclosure is useful as portable drive after swapping out the SSD M2 drives. Good value initially and excellent after noting Best Buy price drop that they honored as price match. Longevity is TBD but has good specs for use as laptop system drive.

I could not be more happy with this drive. It reads fast it writes fast and it boots fast. It reliable and can and has been formatted and partitioned Several times to my complete satisfaction! I can recommend PNY - 2TB Internal PCI Express SSD to any one who needs to maximize Disc storage! In reference this product was installed on my HP Laptop - 17-by3613dx.

I haven't checked the pricing on this now, but at the time of purchase this was an excellent value for a 2TB NVME Gen 3. Samsung was $100+ more at the time and had about the same performance. Same warranty length - 5 years - and it's been running strong. PNY XLR8 products have been solid in my laptop, desktop, & server.

So I installed this drive to a OWC thunderbolt 3 enclosure and it is amazingly fast. I connected to my Mac and it is as good as a native drive with TB3 connection. 2 TB is great for all the 4K video editing work.

This is an excellent ssd I use it on my Razer laptop and get around 2800 read and 2700 write speeds. Maybe not the fastest ssd on the market, but for me it’s an excellent product for the lower price!

I upgraded my PC storage from 128 GB to this 2 TB SSD. My computer runs super fast and I have a ton of storage for all my photos. Geek squad installed this for me as and got my laptop back in 2 days.

Amazing ssd for the money when I got it on sale. This drive has a cache do doesn't suffer from the slowdown that cache's drives do. Recommended!
