A cool idea to help me send pictures and music to family without waiting for then to upload or download via e-mail. I only used it once though, and not sure if I will pay any money once my 6 months free are up

The PogoPlug cloud storage is easy way to store your data online so that it can be accessed from anywhere and from any device. However, the monthly subscription cost is too high for regular user. Good for the people who need to store large amount of data.

this wont be the best antivirus but it's ok. i rather prefer defender

Using this cloud storage service has really saved space on my laptop.

I think it is an amazing option to store things, however, I did return mine after talking to a computer rep, there was not much I as an older person would use it for. Great for younger people with gaming and many other things.

Seems to work well, but I only just started with it. It was free with the purchase of my laptop, so the price was great. It is only for 6 months, so I will have to see if it is worth continuing.

Valuable tool if you need additional cloud storage.

I installed it and activated it, but I am really not using it, as it costs and I dont need that much storage so the free options out there are good for me. But if I would need more storage, it is a cheaper and ok option for online storage.

I received this product free with my geek squad plan. I like the service and installation was easy. Its easy to use too, but I don't have a need to pay for long term storage so the price (if I had to pay) wouldn't be worth it to me!

Came with computer purchase. We haven't used it yet.

It was nice to get the first 6 months free, but you only get 2 gigs of storage or you have to pay. It also gets expensive if you have a lot of pics and video. It is very easy to use. You can just drag a pic over to the icon and drop it in and you have it saved. However, the setup process takes a little time getting the settings the way you like takes time also. You can access it from multiple devices and upload from them too. If you don't mind the money then this is a pretty good backup option.

6-month trial came with iMac purchase. Data goes up...data comes down...both encrypted. Data at rest is encrypted. Nothing bad to say about it...I just don't need cloud storage...I prefer to manage my own storage.

I recently had a brake-in, and realized how important it was to back up my data online! But, boy it's slow to upload all my files. I think it's my internet connection, though, and not the fault of pogoplug.

I wouldn't recommend against this, but see less and less of a need for something like this every day. It is a limited amount of storage for a short period of time. I don't see the value for home use.
