    I only got to play the remake Pokemon Crystal growing up, so diving into this adventure has been both a semi-new experience for me and a trip down memory lane. While some of the mechanics are tedious in comparison to the newer games, seeing the origins of Pokemon is well worth it.

    This is a good game. It wasn’t the one I meant to get but my daughter liked it anyway. It was interesting buying it as a download but my daughter was eventually able to figure out how to get it into her computer instead of mine.

    I knew what I was getting when I bought the digital code for Pokemon Silver. It's easy to redeem on the 3DS store and playing the game gave me a head rush of nostalgia!
