It's a great value considering what's included in the package. It comes with just about everything you'd need to actually play the Pokemon Trading Card Game, including damage counters, die, even sleeves for your cards. It also comes with 8 packs from the newest expansion (at the time of writing this review). However, as with any Trading Card Game, the true satisfaction with this product will be the cards that you get from these packs. Considering the contents of the packs are random, there's always a chance you'll be disappointed by the outcome. It's a gamble, but if you're looking to buy Pokemon Trading Cards, it's hard to beat the value in this package.

I got a few Ultra rares and Rainbow rares from the packs in this set. That isn't guaranteed for everyone, but I was happy. The sleeves for your cards are nice and the energy packs are cool if you are just getting into the game.

Every year they have a new themed Pokémon my kid has gotta have for xmas this hobby is not cheap on my wallet but what we do for our kids.

The draw from the booster packs seemed to be good, but my favorite part is the acrylic GX and status markers. The box is also super helpful for card storage.

Fair pricing and readily available for purchase for a Christmas present.

Great starter set for getting Pokemon cards. If you are looking to learn how to play the game this does not have instructions to play.

This box was quite a bit cheaper than some of the other elite trainer boxes. My son saw it and freaked out.

This set was a pretty solid set. This was the set that introduced Buzzwole for the first time and it made a huge impact in standard play. I remember playing at card shops with a Buzzwole deck and it was a fun deck to play. There were multiple variations but the one that I usually played was Buzzrock. If you want a good starter set I usually always suggest getting a Elite trainer box. You get a GX coin, some sleeves, dice, booster packs, energy, burn and poison markers, and a booklet that shows you all of the cards in the deck.

As a Pokemon card collector I found this box to be very helpful and useful as I got a good amount of 5 GX Cards as well as the 40 useful energy cards in battle.

A nice box to store your cards in. Has card sleeves, card dividers to help keep everything in place. Plus a nice amount of booster packs inside

The crimson invasion set has some great cards to use but the pull rate for any decent ones is very low compared to many other sets. If you're looking to get Pokemon cards for a child in your life look at the Guardians Rising sets instead as they have a higher likely-hood of getting good cards.
