A nostalgic journey to by kid's childhood with a modern twist for my grandson's enjoyment. This is a classic must-have for all fans of Pokemon (older kids and new collectors.) My son collected cards and now his son collects cards and this set brings a wave of nostalgia while offering a fresh, polished experience. The board, counters, and markers were a fabulous addition to my grandson's collection. We were excited for some of the rare finds.

At first I was hesitant because of the price, but if you’re a true Pokémon fan and played the TCG growing up then this is definitely worth it. The quality and build of the carrying case is exquisite and it doubles as a playing arena as well. What I wasn’t expecting was for every single card to be a halo or reverse halo. Even the energy cards are halo! I especially love that the damage markers and status conditions were made with quality and are easy to use instead of dice like we usually do. The coin spinner in the middle is pretty fun to use to. This is a great set of your an old fan of the tcg or a new fan wanting to learn the game. These premade decks are easy to use and balance out pretty well against each other. You will not regret buying this. I was just blown away and was smiling ear to ear opening this up and sleeving every card 1 by 1.

Do not order this shipped to your home. It does not come shipped in a shipping box but literally AS IS. The attached photos are explanation enough. Immediate return. Best Buy could easily fix this, just ship your products in a box! Embarrassing.

Went live opening this box that I ordered here direct from bestbuy i have the video of me opening the seal and cutting the tape we completely opened everything live on TikTok and it was missing all the cards there was not a single deck in the box i will be trying to contact bestbuy to see what we can do as for now be careful buying these I normally dont do reviews but i will definitely be making a video about this transaction

Came damaged and wet, should've at least cover the box with protective plastic or wrapped securely! Best Buy shipping and Packaging are always the Worst!

The game board is in high quality, and it is a must have for hardcore TCG players. The 3 decks, is extremely collectible that it will gain value in the future. Since the vintage is so much money, and this reprint of the Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur can satisfy for the new collectors. Hope the packaging for the deck is easier to open, for the Japanese version is easier to open. But this English Version has the main cards in the middle vs the Japanese has much higher damage rate because the Japanese one is right on top.
