My son wanted this for his Brithday. He is into Pokémon big time. He has the various games and cards. This will be a nice addition to his collection. Anyway, he was thrilled when opened it up on his BIrthday. Oh, I received $13 off this game with the Best Buy gamers club. These games are expensive. So glad I could save so money and use it towards another gift for him.

I really liked the Pokken Tournament for the WII U and was happy to get more characters and features with this newest installment. The switch is portable where the Wii U isn't. I find myself playing DX more than the original simply because it's so convenient to carry around! Plus the new characters are fun as heck to play as, Empoleon and Decidueye especially.

Without looking at any reviews or trailers, I bought this game thinking it might be like Pokemon Stadium. But its not. Its a fighting game. A fun one to boot. However, the only thing I didn't like was the lack of characters. I guess its difficult to do a fighting game for all Pokemon. Even if its the original 151. But its a fun game. I recommend it.

This is really an awesome game! And the first Pokemon game on Nintendo Switch, although it was already on Wii U! It's really exciting to control a Pokemon to fight with another. I would highly recommend this game if you have never played it on Wii U. And to my surprise, I received this game 3 days earlier before the released day, which is really awesome!!!

Where was this in the 90s? Pikachu dodge! Now you can actually side step and iron tail your friends! Game is amazing to just hang back and play with friends or solo but mostly ideal for beginners just getting into typical fighting style games and combo mastering. When live goes and game sequels are released I’ll be buying the next for sure!

Very enjoyable play with friendly multiplayer and responsive mechanics and satisfying graphics. A must play if you are into animated fighting games. Well balanced and each character has a varying display of moves; a great play whether you are a novice or an expert. Definitely one of the favorite games in my Nintendo Switch collection.

After playing this on Wii U, I was not the biggest fan of the game, but being able to play it anywhere really hyped up the appeal for me.This is a fun game when you bring it to a friends house or when your friends come over. Definitely a unique experience and with the switch version adding more characters and modes, its the definitive version.

I bought this for my 6 year old son. He enjoys it. It was a rebuy since we had it on the Wii U. It’s nice to have a portable version now. I think if your a fan of Pokémon it will be awesome. If your not a huge Pokémon fan, maybe try another fighting game.

Honestly if you have played this game on the WiiU then you are not missing much in this version except for new pokémon. If you have never played it before then I suggest that if you are a big Pokémon fan then you pick it up. It is not my favorite game on the Switch, but it is fun when you play with a lot of friends.

If you are a fan of fighting games such as Mortal Kombat, this game is right down your alley. I would recommend this over ARMs for Nintendo Switch. ARMs is a limited fighting game that does not give you the ability to do many combo type moves. Pokken is the complete opposite and allows you to create your own unique fighting style and do amazing fighting combos. Plus if you're a Pokemon fan, this is a must have. Lots of fun!

This is how Pokemon battles really should be. It has an interesting phase system that switches movesets. The only real negative is some characters aren't really competitive, although they can still be fun to play. There is plenty of singleplayer content in addition to the local and online multiplayer.

I bought this for my son as he's really into Pokemon. He loves it! Great graphics and lots of Pokemon to choose from. I will say that I would assume the target market is younger kids with a Pokemon game and so I thought it would be easier for him to play by himself but that's not really the case. It's not scaled back for kids at all so if you have a young one plan to spend a lot of time helping them figure out what to do.

I use to have this on the Wii U and pick this up as one of my first Switch games. This version has quite a few new fighters and some additional modes making it the definitive version of the game. I say give it a shot if your a fan of the franchise and want a multiplayer game on the Switch!

Pokken Tournament DX is a perfect port of the Wii U version with 5 extra Pokémon (Croagunk, Empoleon, Darkrai, Scizor and Decidueye) as well as some new features, like local two player multiplayer on one screen. If you’re into fighting games, it is well balanced, highly competitive and worth a try.

This game is a must have. Very fun with plenty of Pokemon to choose from. You get to battle it out with 3 Pokemon each. The battle sequences are full of action and challenging. I've spent hours battling it out with friends and family. Definitely among the best games out for the nintendo switch.

Great fighting game for the switch. I never really had the time to play it on the Wii U but now that its portable I can play it and I really enjoy it. Online fights are the best part of the game. Story mode is easy but enjoyable. Playing with friends locally is also a blast. Would recommend!
