Got this on sale and for the sale price, its definitely worth it! Nostalgia on the go on a modern system. This would have been a 5 star if the game had some additional features.

We finally got a beautiful game with delightful calming music in a traditional ganre. I cant wait to see Ultra Sun and Moon remake! Rip ugly and empty Sword & Shield and Arceus as well.

Fun game, i enjoyed playing this back on the ds and it was fun seeing it remade for the switch.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond is a remake from the original Pokemon Diamond game on the original DS. It comes with updated graphics and an enhanced gameplay than the original. Pokemon games are great games to play to try and collect every Pokemon across all the series. If you are a fan of the old style Pokemon games, then this is a game for you to buy.

Bought the OG right out of highschool. This remake brought me back. The nostalgia is great! Worth the buy

Decent remake, the game is pretty easy though. Wish it had platinum features.

While not being the gen 4 remake most fans wanted (including myself), this game does a lot of things right. The music is phenomenal as ever, the environment looks quite nice (despite the chibi models that grew on me over time), and the game actually provides a challenge for the elite four and the post game (something game freak never does anymore). Though there are a few hiccups when it comes to this game, i think Ilka has done a swell job for their first ever attempt at a video game. If they want to be in charge of doing the remakes from now on moving forward, I think they can do great things.

Great game. Highly Recommended! I wish the graphics were a little more realistic, kind of like they did in Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire, or even Sword and Shield, but the graphics are still a huge improvement over the originals that I enjoyed playing back in 2006. Overall a great remake of a classic game, with many quality of life improvements added to this remake.

I haven't played a pokemon game since the original Gameboy games and this won't disappoint. I got this game for my kids but i might enjoy it more. My daughter loves that we are playing the same game and constant compares the pokemon we caught. 10 stars! Always a blast playing these games

Amazing game! It's even better than the original because of the enhanced visuals. I wasn't sure about getting it after seeing the original trailer, I thought it wasn't going to compare to the way Sword and Shield turned out, but I realized you just can't compare the two. This game is just as fun and if you like the original, you will like this one too.

I don't recall much from the stories of Pokémon DP, XY, or BW 1/2 as I've played them long ago. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond is a remaster for the Switch, but retains the chibi art style of the original games. I personally love this art style, while I know some players in the community do not like this style or aesthetic found in the original games or games like Link's Awakening on the Switch. The game did get rushed from a development standpoint. That was discovered with the day 1 patch to replace the placeholder original music with their remastered copies, as well as fixes for exploits discovered by the community. While I never personally ran into these issues, the game overall felt polished and the graphics were amazing. The grand underground was a welcome return and the redesign was astounding, especially with the ability to encounter rare Pokémon while exploring. If you're looking for a Pokémon Platinum experience or a complete overhaul, this probably isn't the game for you. If you're looking to scratch the Pokémon itch, miss the grand underground, and aren't put off by the art style, then this will do perfectly.
