    This franchise needs to be pushed to the levels it deserves, but this just isn't it. If you played and enjoyed past games and want more of it then you're good to go here. Coming off Zelda and other games though I just can't help but feel disappointed, these games could be so much more.

    The game isnt for anyone that genuinely plays traditional pokemon games. Its not like Legends Arceus either but its own monster that attempts to function in between PLA and Pokken Tournament where you fight between your Pokemon, the other pokemon and your in game character has to avoid being attacked as well. Story isn't very good and is dependent on Nostalgia versus its own merrits. Gameplay and controls are lack luster, but some new mechanics are welcome. Fighting area zones as well as daylight to nightime and viceversa are both tedious and detrimental to the flow of the game as you could be in progress of capturing or battling and be interrupted by the location of the sun as if your goal was teleported away. Highly do NOT recommend especially with the current hackers abusing the coding.
