Fun take back to Gen 1
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed playing the first pokemon game to be on the switch. It's a cool little take back to Gen 1 with Team Rocket and Giovanni. Its fun to replay if you have been around since Red / Blue. I don't like the catching mechanic's or how there is no breeding in the game. It's a fun game but it could have been so much more. The Go mechanics need to stay with the cell phone game and not move into console's. I would give it three stars, but it was cool to go back to Kanto.

Great game, worth the buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee is a great Pokemon title that can be found exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. It is a tremendous remake and reboot of Pokemon Yellow with new features as well as an implementation of the mobile game Pokemon Go. This is a must buy for any Switch owner or Pokemon Go fan.

Unique take on pokemon
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gen 1 has the most games of them all but this gave it a unique re imagining. I actually find the Lets Go games to be better looking than Sw/Sh and the game runs very well. The only thing I wish was different was the wild encounters, but its a very good game.

Great Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee is a amazing game, it is also a great game for Pokémon beginners (which I mean Pokémon GO players), if anybody that never played a past Pokémon game can start with Eevee or Pikachu, it is a mix of regular Pokémon and Pokémon Go (capturing Pokémon with pokeballs).

Fun throwback but missing some features
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a fun throwback to the Leaf Green/Fire Red days! It combines the story of those games with some of the mechanics of Pokemon Go, like catching and the ability to control wild Pokemon encounters. It does lack some basic features of those games, though. You cannot breed Pokemon, you can't make Pokemon hold items (so no sending items to your friends via trading with held items). You are also limited to the first 151 Pokemon, so no national Pokedex.

Just in time for xmas
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doesnt matter if you're a new fan or old. You'll love it the same. The original yellow version mixed with pokemon go style has the nostalgic feel for us old fans. I bought both for the kids for Christmas. Now I just need the ball.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing remake of the old classics. It’s nice to see Pokémon games making a comeback. This is a nice introduction to the newer generation. It’s simple enough to where new gamers can get a good idea of what us old timers played back in the day. Excited for the future

Kid loves it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my 7yo son. He loves everything Pokémon. Watched the series on Netflix. Saw the movie in the theater. Got the demo of this game and he liked so of course bought the full game. Plays it but hard to pry him away from Fortnite as I'm sure most parents can relate to!

New Trainers, Same Charm!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is based for new Pokemon fans, and not the hardcore though that doesn't mean it lacks what we all love about Pokemon in the first place. Some major changes to the franchise in this iteration, No longer battling wild Pokemon to capture is quite jarring along with motion control for capturing mechanics. Though it is still the same lovable game at heart where you battle trainers and earn gym badges while trying to collect them all and be the very best.

Worth the wait!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have several other game systems already, so purchasing another was not in the cards. But when we took this for a test drive, so much fun! Responsive, games we hadn’t played as well as reboots! Looking forward to other games in the works! So much fun we bought 2 of them!

Great game, just reused story
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a rehash of the original pokemon red game with a few differences. A good example is the catching a wild pokemon is now like Pokémon go. Not to say that it’s garbage, I still really enjoyed the game, the eevee sitting on my characters head was a very nice touch. My only two complaints would be how far in the story you need to go before you’re able to switch pokemon from your go account and that they could have deviated from the story a bit more.

Daughter loves it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My daughter has loved watching her dad play Pokemon go, and this little game has made her so happy! She gets to play just like her dad and he is able to send Pokemon to her once she gets further in the game. Good little beginner game for kids.

Awsome
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a great time playing this game. Lots of nostalgia. It's not exactly the same as the old ones but it's still really fun. Just wish you would fight pokemon to catch em rather than just throwing pokeballs at them till you catch them. That's my only gripe.

Fun take on the Pokemon adventure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed playing this, as a fan of the Pokemon Go app myself! The ability to manuever pokemon between both, along with going on the original adventure in the Kanto region, really brought back some memories. Looking forward to enjoying more Pokemon games on the switch!

Fantastic Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is definitely different than most Pokémon games released by Nintendo and has similar catching styles as the Pokémon Go game for your phone however it’s still fun to play and the graphics look amazing as well as catch combos making it easier to find shiny Pokémon.

Great for new Pokemon players
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good addition to the Pokemon franchise. It is my first time playing on a console and I have enjoyed it. I found it pretty easy, although the motion controls can make it a bit hard at times. If you swap to hand held catch mode you won't have to worry about that.

A Pleasant Surprise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Somehow GameFreak managed to combine the catching mechanics of "Pokemon Go" and applied them to the classic game (with a graphical overhaul). What's surprising is how well it works and actually improves the experience: it no longer gets tedious trying to catch Pokemon!

Not a remake, a new take!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's Go, Eevee! is a new story with completely different ways to play from gyro controls to target the pokémon to pressing the A button to throw a pokéball. It has strong game play great graphics and beautiful sound even though the audio for many pokémon seems outdated.

Not Quite What I Expected!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being a long-time Pokemon fan, i had initial reservations on purchasing Pokemon Let's Go. I was not a fan of the casual Pokemon GO and did not mind the endless grinding of the traditional Pokemon games. Needless to say, I did not think i would be able to adjust to the combination of Pokemon GO and the RPG... However, it grew quickly on me and it is a great combination of both; it still retains the Pokemon Yellow nostalgia with a modern twist.
