Pokemon on the switch is so good. Love the graphics and the ease to play. Can’t wait for more games!

If you remember playing Pokemon Red/Yellow, this is essentially that game, but upgraded. The graphics and colors are vibrant, playing in handheld mode isn't too bad, you can play with another person... and it incorporates Pokemon Go. You see Pokemon before interacting with them. If you're targeting a specific type then it's so much easier. There's still a bit of a grind, but nowhere close to what it once was. It's a fun game that anyone could pick up. It's the same game, but with some tweaks. Definitely love this game.

With over 200 hours played so far and no end in sight, this is one of my favorite Pokemon games in a long time. As a remake of the original, this HD Remaster replaces traditional Pokemon catching mechanics with the more user friendly catching mechanics of Pokemon Go. At first I was afraid that I would miss traditional fights, but the game adds more trainers and the mix keeps me from ever becoming tired of battling. This is a true must buy for fans of the series as well as the perfect entry point for new comers.

Fun and charming game especially for beginners. Definitely nostalgic for old school Pokemon fans as well. Makes a great gift! Delivery was reliable and the product arrived in perfect condition.

It is really a remake where they are playing with options for the future and others. It plays really well actually, there are aspects that I like better and some that I miss. Maybe a bit easy but a decent intro game. Very happy.

Our family plans Pokemon Go together, so it seemed natural to pickup Pokemon Let's Go for Switch. I haven't really played it much myself, but I've watched my son play it quite a bit. He's 9 years old, and he loves it. The graphics are good, and it seems to play s lot like the mobile game. Which is to say, it seems a little simplistic to me for a switch game, but again, he loves it. It is also cool that you can transfer Pokemon from the mobile game to the Switch game. But we haven't actually gotten to that yet, as there is only 1 location in the game where this can be done. I think I'll give the game a try if I can find the time. In the meantime, it'll be entertaining my son. Also, we were interested in the Pokeball Plus (?) accessory, but at $50, seems way too expensive to me.

Starting off, you can choose a male or female character, which you get to slightly customize the looks for. I was a little disappointed that you couldn't do the same for your rival. As you progress through the game, you can get various costumes for yourself and your Pokemon. You can have a buddy and an additional Pokemon out of the pokeball, which you can ride or have follow you.
A slightly different mix of Pokemon appear in the various areas and rather than battle to catch them, you use a system similar to Pokemon Go to catch, but the Pokemon in your team gain experience when you catch.
At some point, you can even add the new Pokemon Meltan to your Pokemon Go account. I could go on, but it's best to experience for yourself. Overall, a great game for noobs and for veteran Pokemon players alike.

The game is worth a try even though the core part of random encounters isn’t part of the game anymore. They made up for this by giving us impressive graphics and more realistic Pokémon. 4 stars because I still miss the random battles.

What a game! I remember playing the original Pokemon Yellow on my yellow Gameboy color, and falling in love with the world. While there are some fundamental changes to the way you capture the creatures, it has been an incredibly fun adventure. The story and lore is relatively the same, while taking advantage of new graphics and bringing the pokemon to life. By nature, the game is easier due to the catching mechanic (which levels your party up), but I would recommend for players new and old.
