    Fun Twist on Pokemon

This game is really interesting because you actually ARE a Pokémon. Instead of completing a journey to different cities -like in the other Pokémon games- you do daily resucites/tasks and return to you team base at the end of each day. This game was also released on the Nintendo DS several years ago if you have played that.

Minimum required characters: 50 Okay, seriously though, this is a great game and worth playing. Is it worth the full price? Maybe not, but it’s certainly a fun timewaster. Visually appealing, and a nice break from the usual Pokemon experience. I never played the original but on its own, the remake is pretty good.

This is a fun game for both new and old fans of the pokemon world. Get to choose either based on your personality or manually your starting pokemon and 2nd companion. Venture off in a maze like adventure completing quest. Many different generations of pokemon present and graphics on game were completed very well.

I’ve enjoyed the MD series since the start. The graphics look good, but very few things I’ve changed with this “remake” and imo, that’s both a good and bad thing. It’s good because it feeds the nostalgia. It’s bad because, well, after 15 years nothing was done to freshen it up. While there are minor changes throughout with other things, it’s the same core game as it was 15 years ago. I’ve been enjoying it since I’ve purchased it but I do wish they could’ve added a couple things to refresh the game.

Played the original as a kid. I am overjoyed that Nintendo made a switch version. Always enjoy taking the quiz in the beginning to determine which Pokemon you're more like. The story hit my feels back then. Can't wait to see it do the same at the end. Woohooo I love this game.

I love all Pokémon games and I’ve played all the mystery dungeon games. This is just like the original, same story line. But I really love it. It’s fun and different from the main Pokémon games. Good story line. I love the new graphics. It’s an overall great game.

A Fun Offshoot Geared To The Younger Fans

I never played the original, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But once I got into it, it was surprisingly fun. Note, this isn't the typical Pokemon RPG experience, and it is definitely geared toward younger fans. With that said, it is a fun, different way to experience the Pokemon franchise. It's essentially a dungeon crawler without the addictive loot drop hook. It's worth a look for fans and for younger gamers.

Phenomenal remaster of a classic title. Despite what some consumers have said the developers breathed new life into this title that exceeds the original by Leaps and bounds. Not only remastering the graphics but quality of life improvements as well.

If you enjoy the Mystery Dungeon games on the DS, then you'll love this one. A remaster of the Rescue Team game, everything and more is included and this time you have the benefit of playing on the big screen and on the go. Highly recommend it!

This is an excellent addition to the Switch library! This game is a nice change of pace from standard Pokemon games. The remake does a great job of keeping the good elements from the old game while introducing new and improved ones.

If you ever played the original Blue/Red Mystery Dungeon Pokemon games on the DS this is a must have! Well if you enjoyed those game of course. This is a great updated version of those classic games on a great system. All the main mechanics and main story are roughly the same. The art style has been updated a bit and overall quality seems a bit more rounded for the Switch. I'm really enjoying this game and definitely recommend picking it up and trying it out if you can!

Good storyline, challenging, and you still get the freedom to make your own choices and come up with your own strategy. Much harder and different gameplay than the other pokemon games, but you get countless hours of fun out of it

This is probably one of my favorite Pokémon games. My son and I love it, we play it all the time. Has a sad but happy ending but after you beat the game you can continue to play other secret levers which is pretty cool.

Pokemon mystery dungeon is a fun but different way to play pokemon. Instead of being a trainer going around catching and battling you get to play as a pokemon and adventure around rescuing others and completions missions.

Fun game if you enjoy Pokémon and randomly generated dungeons! I loved the original mystery dungeon games for the GBA and Nintendo DS. It was worth the cost to enjoy 70+ hours of gameplay and you can play this offline.

I never played the old mystery dungeon games, but I realized this is a redo of one, rather than its open installment. That's okay though, because I actually prefer the Pokemon up to Generation 3 (didn't really like any after that), so it keeps me thoroughly entertained, and I'm glad other mistake Pokemon like vanilluxe won't ruin the authenticity of Pokemon.
