Hoenn was one of my favorite gens as a kid and this game let me relive that. It has some fun new features, but some artifacts of the old version remain such as bike switching and low difficulty. I was also hoping for the battle frontier to return, but it is not present and only hinted at

Similar to my review for Alpha Saphhire, this game is a great remake. Although purchasing two copies of one game is getting old - this remake is a great addition for Pokemon fans. A great start for new comers though.
