Got the game after playing previous games in the series. They have made several inprovements. Really like the game play and features.

The new features to an already great game make it well worth the money. Mega evolutions are pretty cool and offer a fresh take on battle.

This was purchased as a gift for a family member. I never played Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Sapphire when they were first released several years ago. Just over a year ago, I got my hands on Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and I finally got to experience an expansive Pokemon title with added features. I've never seen so much story in a Pokemon game before playing Alpha Sapphire. I enjoyed every bit of it, so when I needed an idea for a gift for someone who plays games like me, I did not have to look far.

The thing about Pokemon is that the main series titles are a can't miss! I was skeptical about the switch from the traditional overhead view, but after a brief adjustment period in X I was all good. Ruby is a title I missed when it was released originally for the Game Boy Advance so I'm glad I got the chance to play it and the updated graphics are nice. I'm not going to say it's the best in the series because I will always hold the banner flag for Red and Blue, but definitely a must play!

This is another great Pokemon game! The graphics and gameplay have improved and there are so many more Pokemon to catch!

If you played the original Ruby or Sapphire versions and then left Pokemon for a while like I did, this game is the perfect opportunity to get back into it. This game does almost everything right. It remains true to the storyline if the original, while really spicing it up. Add on the new play dynamics of Pokemon X and great post story potential, including all new ways for competitive players to train, and you have an excellent installment in the beloved Pokémon franchise.

The original Pokemon Ruby was one of my favorite Pokemon games of all time so my prayers were answered when I heard about the 3DS remake. I also picked up the Gamers Club Unlocked Subscription before picking these games up for $30 which saved me a lot of money when I bought this game and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire which has already paid for itself with the purchase of these games and Bayonetta 2 so I would highly recommend that as well if it's still on sale for $30

If you like Pokémon you will like this game. Kids love catching those Pokémon and this remake is the bomb!

This remake is good. They enhanced the graphics and the story. It has all the features of the 6th gen.

Even though this game is just a remake of the original Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, it feels like it's own with new plot twists, enhanced graphics, added features, New Mega Evolutions, and Best of all the strongest Pokemon to ever step into an arena, Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

Snazzy new graphics, mega evolutions, delta episode, and more make this game very enjoyable and new.

If you are reading this, you're probably wondering if you should get Pokemon OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire. The answer is YES. Sure, it's a remake of the gameboy advance game Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, however there are more features to explore in this game, not to mention the huge update in the roster! It goes without saying that the graphics are absolutely beautiful. If you're a fan of Pokemon, you should definitely get this game!

Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod yaaaaaaassssssssss Pokemon DEFINATELY reinstated that they are the best Nintendo game and fandom ever. ALSO if you pay attention thoughout the story - it teaches children good morals and values as in; it's GREAT for people to be different and to not make fun of people because of their weight, fashion, taste in music, etc. they did one heck of a job on this revamped Pokemon game. <3

Many different Pokemon to catch. Lots of fun. A large amount of legendarys and megas.

Omega Ruby is an excellent remake that truly stands out among the others in the franchise. With over 700 different Pokemon you won't get bored searching for new ones, but on top of that it gives old players of the originals a great sense of nostalgia and good memories. That's not to say that this game isn't for newcomers, because they will have just as much fun with this game.

Haven't been able to complete all the content because there is just so much. Still pick it up and play it to catch the Legendaries that I haven't received on past games.

Though it still falls short of Black/White (fifth gen) in story and character quality and thus takes its place as my second favourite in the Pokemon series, ORAS (third gen remakes) are still objectively the best in the series. Third-gen has always had by far the best world/map in the series, being a well-designed, highly diverse, and very creative location in the form of Hoenn. Places visited include a desert, a treehouse town, an indoor city, a town inside of a dormant volcano, island chains, underwater, a town built to float upon the sea, a volcano town featuring hot springs and raining soot, and more! Upon the wonderful foundation of the amazing third gen Pokemon games is a set of improvements. The most obvious is that it takes the best new aspects of the disappointing X/Y (sixth gen) Pokemon games, most notably the 3D graphics engine. These improvements are merely applied to a much better game in this case. Meanwhile, new additions like sneaking up on Pokemon in grass make for a much more interesting addition to the series mechanically, as well as for a world that feels more "alive" than ever before. If you have ever liked Pokemon or have even the slightest inclination towards playing this, choose Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire.
