i'm not a huge fan of most game remakes, However with both Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire i love them! its the classic game with a few added features including trading capabilities of the newer generations of Pokemon as well as completely new features to the series.

So I cant give this or its sister game a full five becauae it's just a reboot of a decent game and yes it's better and super fun, it still lacks something and I think that is the completeness of inclusion of the other regions of the Pokemon Universe. These are still great games but will never be as great as they can be until a unified Pokemon game is made that incompasses the entire world they have built. With today's technology that would r be very hard at all.

Omega ruby retains much of the basic features from ruby that we loved plus includes some new things that make it more interesting. I hadn't played pokemon in about ten years until I got this on the 3DS. Now it's hard to put down.

Gave this to my daughter and she loves it. I can't tell the difference between Pokémon and Digimon but I know I can't go wrong with this type of present. This particular game was a big hit - and for a brief moment in time, I was the cool parent.

This game is fantastic.I've played pokemon since Gameboy color.I could safely say I that it has changed alot.I like the way it is now.Now for these remakes it's all a throwback for me.Totally worth buying again just to bring back the memories.

As the Summary says this is my first pokemon since playing Pokemon Yellow back in the Gameboy Color days. so far i have enjoyed playing the game they have added alot that i had always wanted the game to evolve towards from the older games.

I was really impressed with Pokemon X and Y so I was really looking forward to this pokemon and it didnt disappoint. However, at the same time it seems like a completely different game from X and Y so it doesnt get boring or repetitive.

I missed this game gorwing up. But now can play it again as an adult and love it. Lot more Pokemon than there used to be. Awesome improvement from Pokemon XY with getting to use a Pokedex that has been upgraded from the last games!

Glad that the creators of Pokemon can still make good games. Solid remake with new additions.

I bought this game for my 12 year old son. He loves video games and plays this game all the time. Typically he completes a game in a week. This one is taking a little longer which makes me feel like I got my money's worth.

Excellent continuation of the Pokemon series!! I bought this game for both of my boys, and they can't stop playing it! I told me that the storyline is good, the gameplay is fun, and that they're having a great time with it.

My first pokemon game was ruby for the game boy advanced and this game does a really good job of implementing the new concepts (like mega evolution) into an already designed game. I highly recommend even for new pokemon fans.

The game itself is so much more than the previous versions. The story is far more expansive and it's very easy to get lost in for hours at a time. Purchased the game a few weeks ago and easily have put 45 hours of play time.

I'm not the player of this game, my nephew is but he's a fan and I'm sure he really enjoys it. Some friends of mine who are adults as I am, enjoy these games too. I'm not a fan of them but I'm glad my nephew likes it.

This game is so much better than I thought it would be. I'm old school and am used to the original 150 pokemon however these new ones are actually pretty memorable. I might consider other pokemon games from here.

Pokemon Omega Ruby is a faithful remake of the original Pokemon Ruby that came out in the early 2000's. It gives the Hoenn region a new coat of paint along with some good quality of life additions, however as with all newer Pokemon games, there is a lack of difficulty and post-game content. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any Pokemon game, however if you're a new player to the franchise, then going with the most recent installment will be your best option as it will have the most beginner friendly features and even more quality of life improvements. So whether it's for the sake of nostalgia, or you want a good starting point, or simply more Pokemon - Omega Ruby is a must buy

Remakes tend to be easy cash in for publishers but like every full moon there's a few that improves on what was already great games. Omega Ruby is one of those games. You won't be disappointed. Like every other Pokemon game you are to collect pokemon and gym badges that let you compete against the Pokemon league elites all the while going against a evil gang up to no good.

This version blows the original ruby version on the Gameboy Advance out of the water. With updated graphics and new visuals, the Omega Ruby version is a must get to whoever played the original.

I bought this long after the release but after enjoying the original game back in 2003, I had to get this for my 3DS. Its a fun installment that is just as fun as the original.

I haven't played this game the Nintendo Advance version on my SP. This game is amazing with the new graphics. Can't wait to keep carching more pokemon and complete the story.
