    First of all, a big shout out to Best Buy, thanks for including some toys in your store. Stopping by the store and looking at toys make my dreadful day at work go away. Keep it up, BB! Our family loves Pokemon Go. While all my colleagues bragging about how their kids can do addition math and read books at 4yo, my son memorized all the names of the 1st gen pokemons and their idol animations. My son's Magikarp is my all-time favorite. We are also very into related merchandise including this series by Mega Construx. I am a big fan of LEGO, because of the quality of the bricks. I started to take notice of Mega Construx when they put out the POWER RANGER series a while ago. However, their bricks feel cheaper because of the plastic used and the looser joint (bad copy?) compared to LEGO bricks. Com'on, Mega Construx, if you want to copy LEGO, do it like you mean it. While I love this series, thinkings some of the pokemon were nicely done, but I do not want to mix the two bricks together. It was always a torn standing in front of them with my inner child and my son.

    These are very quick to build and overpriced IMO. That being said, I enjoy them and like having them on my shelf. I've done Magikarp, Cubone, Grubbin, and Geodude. For the price, my recommendation is a toss-up, but I suggest buying your favorite to try it out. Children can build these, but certain pokemon may not be durable for lots of play.
