I started playing Pokémon on the Nintendo DSI all the way up to the 3DS, but unfortunately, was unable to get the switch so my Pokémon journey ended there it seemed. As of last year I have since been able to get a switch (but for the family…) seeing an opportune I bought the latest Pokémon game to try out (even with mixed reviews) and I have to say I’ve been enjoying it greatly, ignoring the performance issues which of lately have greatly improved (at least on my end) on this 4g+ update. So I would recommend checking this game out if you like Pokémon!

Pro: it looks amazing, gameplay feels good, colors are vibrant, story is good so far. Cons: there are performance issues and sometime ctroller feel delayed. Otherthand that i highly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Now here me out if you look everything past the glitches and lag it is a fun game to have and it’s fun and way better to get shiny Pokémon in the game

Great game if you like Pokemon RPG collecting pokémon what more can you ask for!

Very good game and can put hours into it with out getting bored.

Haven't played Pokémon in awhile and figured I would give it a try, this game is fantastic and the advisors helped me find the last copy in the store. Amazing purchase.

Despite all the bugs and performance issues.. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet does it right. 3 paths to choose from, Go where you want when you want, Shiny hunting with mass outbreaks and sandwiches.. Chefs Kiss

I love the open world idea. It’s about time. This game is everything you could ever imagine!!

Game is very enjoyable. Gave it 4 stars since the switch is not that powerful and the game does look a bit old even though it is a fairly new title. Love Pokémon, you pay for an amazing experience!

An amazing game through and through. The mechanics definitely revamp and reinvent the classic Pokemon formula. The game does have its quirks though, such as some slight stuttering and minor texture and model issues. The ending is amazing and incredibly worth experiencing.

Absolutely fun game to play I recommend it even with the glitches because of the vast array of different Pokémon species! Also the game has very lovely vast giant open world to explore!!!!

I know that the game has distinct bugs, but the story is really interesting and some of the new Pokémon designs are pretty cool.

I’m enjoying the game so far. No major glitches yet, but haven’t gotten too far in the game so I dunno. I’m enjoying the gameplay catching Pokémon and exploring.
