    The story line for the teal mask DLC is quite short but it is enough to keep you busy for a bit. The map is a bit smaller than the original but the pokemon density is a lot greater than the original map. It is not difficult to complete the 200 pokemon Pokédex even with the version exclusive pokemon.

    The DLC has not yet come out but the trailers for both parts look amazing. There will be new mechanics, a new storyline, and possibly an intro to the next gen or next spin off games. The trailers show how it can tie some ends together and looking forward to when it officially rolls out in the fall. Plus, there was a mystery gift that was available when purchasing the DLC which is always fun. The redeemable code was very easy to access too.

    I bought the DLC The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero for Pokémon Violet at Best Buy, and it was totally worth it. It expands the story with new areas, Pokémon, and challenges that feel fresh. There are some performance issues, but the content is very complete. Perfect if you’ve finished the base game and want more adventures.
