I was hoping when we would have the pokemon series come to console and they finally did.......great game.....love it.

There’s a bit too much cutscenes for me personally. However, the graphics are incredible and there’s a decent storyline and hilarious writing.

Gave as gift to nephew. He plays it everyday. So i consider that a ringing endorsement.

This has the most smooth gameplay of any Pokemon Game thus far. It's really easy to figure out what you're doing and what you should be working toward. A great introduction to the series. For returning players, The navigation and ease of life are huge improvements over previous games. Fast travel is actually fast. Seeing weather in areas before you get there. Overworld visible Pokemon. And the story is much lighter in this than in previous games, but is stil really good.

This is the proper main line Pokemon players have grown to love. Random encounters are back, the old catching mechanic is back. Some interesting new mechanics are thrown in which add another layer of depth to the experience. If you're a Pokemon fan who isn't outraged by the lack of a full National Dex or has an axe to grind with GameFreak, then this game will certainly give you that warm fuzzy feeling that comes from hunting the adorable pocket monsters and doing battle.

I love this game! Reminds me of when I was a child playing Pokémon red on gameboy. Just way better graphics lol

Great game. I bought both sword and shield. Fun to play and looks great on the switch.

Great game, one of, if not the best in the series. Graphics are great for the Switch, I understand the hate it gets for animation and older models used, but it's still a great game. See for yourself.

You simple capture, battle, and collect them all type game. If you played other Pokemon games this is similar.
