Story is awful, music is meh, and the game is too easy. The core gameplay loop is still fun and the wild area is a good addition tho

This game is entertaing and a crowd-pleaser. Graphics continue to live up to Nintendo expectations!

Another excellent addition to the Pokemon franchise. They do a good job of easing new users into the game and the world, while not completely alienating those of us who are more interested more competitive play. I find that these additions make it less monotonous as previous games. This game feels like one step forward towards an open world all the while holding onto what makes these games distinctly pokemon.

Love Pokémon and this entry is no different. Love how it looks on the switch and all the new Pokémon.

This Pokemon is amazing nice gameplay I wish it was more content like the ship tickets or Pokémon go transfer Pokémon I hop they drop update for that but over all the game is amazing

I have not played a Pokemon game since Pokemon Yellow back in 1998 when I was a kid. I, like many during quarantine, bought a switch so I could play this and Animal Crossing and this game is everything I remembered when I was a kid...and so much more! The graphics are great, playability is solid and you won't really get bored with the game. The campaign is great and I love the online aspect as well!

When it comes to a pokemon game this is basically on par with the rest, still has some gimmick to make it seem like something has changed, this time your pokemon grows to the size of a Kaiju monster like godzilla but has no stat boost or necessity. There was some outrage over removing some pokemon and putting in new ones I say who cares a decent amount of the new pokemon are fun enough and the story is basically the same one they've been telling since the beginning. Where it could be better is by breaking the mold and telling a new story, giving us something different I think after over 20 years its about time.

Great game. It brings back memories of Pokémon Red and Blue. The gameplay feels familiar and accessible. The graphics are ok but I don’t care for the graphics as long as the gameplay is fun. Fun tip: Pokémon Home app on mobile and the switch is giving away the three starters from the game, and plus you get a pikachu and a Gen 1 starter (bulbasaur, squirtel, or charmander).

If you're looking for a more tradional pokemon experience on the switch compared to the lets go game's, This is it but it does have some downsides. It's the standard collect 8 gym badges and travel through the region catching pokemon. Same as other games in the series if you played any others. But it does have a new gimmick exclusive to the region but i wont spoil that. However you only have 400 pokemon total in this game so if you were expecting to be able to use all older pokemon or transfer them to the game, it's unfortunately not possible at the time being. The end game content is unfortunately lacking not a whole lot to do. Though for those expecting top not graphics at least in regards to switch capabilities, that unfortunately isn't here. it's still the best looking pokemon game, but dont expect to be blown away by it if you were by zelda breath of the wild, mario oddysey, or luigi mansion 3 as examples of highlights. One other thing that could matter to folks is there's no way to stop the entire party from getting exp in battle's unless they're ko'd. basically its a permanent exp share.

My sons got this game couple days ago and they are having a lot of fun playing with their friends. It’s actually very nice to watch and enjoy having happy kids.
