Brings back a lot of nostalgia in terms of playability similar to the game boy Pokémon games.

My grandson will be surprised on Christmas. This is all he wanted.. I pre-ordered from Best Buy. IT was sold out every where else.

Great game as far as nostalgia and ease / share of play. Bought for two brothers who found it better than originals in some elements and not exemplary in others as far as technology goes.

I never played the originals but I did enjoy these. Just a Pokémon game and tons to do in the underground as well.

Fun game, would recommend buying brilliant diamond as they each have exclusive legendaries and other pokemon.

Bought Pokémon Pearl back in the day and wanted to get back into Pokémon. Shinning Pearl has been lots of fun. Especially with all the clone / item / duplication glitches. I work 6 days and don’t have time to grind anymore like when I was a kid way back when. Shadows, graphics, and overall gameplay has been updated and feels refreshing. Wasn’t a big fan of sword and shield, but this game definitely has been a lot of fun. Especially the underground map.

Purchased for my nephew for Christmas gift. He loved it. Said it was fun but difficult, (he's twelve).

Pokemon Shining Pearl is a nice remaster of a classic DS Pokemon title. Shining Pearl features a lot of the classic look and feel of the original title but with some current remaster techniques for a modern console. The overall visuals keep the original look and make the overhead sequences look as if you are looking at figurines of your childhood. All around this is a fun game and an experience worth playing through even for a second time.

I can't get enough of Pokemon videogames. I'm so happy they finally have a full platform on the switch!

Great game, but the original one is still better in my opinion, still worth getting tho.
