The best Pokemon games since Pokemon Black and White. Gameplay feels right, and the story is very cute. The supporting characters are not annoying, and the setting is great.

Sun/Moon is good for the most part. It introduces some of the best new Pokemon in years, and changes things up by replacing gyms with trials. However, the cutscenes are annoying, and the game, like XY, treats you like a child with ridiculous features (EXP Share, flags on a map indicating your next destination, etc.)

Pokémon Sun/Moon is easily the most evolved (no pun intended) entry to this long-running franchise. There is so much for you to do that even when you need to take a break from trying to be the very best, you can do so within the game from its Pokémon Refresh, Festival Plaza, and Poké Pelago. The main game itself has also been updated and overall streamlined, doing away with HMs and making traversing from place to place much less of a chore, making it so there's never a dull moment in the Alola region. Whether you've played the previous ones or this is your first, Pokémon Sun/Moon is a must-get for any 3DS/2DS owner.

At first when I saw the previews for the differences in gameplay, I was a little concerned. The same formula every game, while enjoyable, makes it harder to embrace such dramatic changes without a bit of trepidation. However, there was nothing to worry about in this case! It's a mix of new and old, and while it starts out a bit slow - what Pokemon game doesn't, really - it picks up and manages to keep player's attention throughout the whole game. While I didn't binge through it as I have with other games, it was a enjoyable experience that was pleasant to be able to pick up and put down as desired.

It's Pokemon, what else is there to say? I'm loving the whole island deal, and having a lot of fun with meeting fun Pokemon, and excited for the new beginners!

Works like a charm just like any game would. As far as gameplay is awesome! Different from your typical past Pokémon game. This game as an actual story to it.

Best looking Pokémon game to date. Brings back favorite Gen 1 Pokémon with new forms. Gyms are gone in place of island trails. Aloha is a wonderful region.

This pokemon game is one of the best in the history of the franchise. Giving us new elements, pokemon, and even alternate versions of old favorites.

Every Pokémon game is fun to play and this one is just as good for players at all levels.

Brings me back to the original games for red/yellow/blue. Lots of new pokemon with none of them being too crazy. Loads of fun finding them all!

What can I say about Pokémon? Every single game is fun. This series bring new things to the table. New story new Pokémon on an island.

As someone who has played the Pokemon series since it first arrived on US shores, I can safely say this is the best in the series. It has taken what we love about the older games, improved on it, added in the nostalgia we crave, and added an awesome visual upgrade. XY did a lot visually to bring the series into the modern era, but still utilized the grid format. Sun/Moon have abandoned that convention to make the world feel larger and much more alive. Fantastic game and I recommend to anyone, veterans and newcomers alike!

Big gift for my son. He loves playing Pokemon still. Glad to see him enjoying it.

Pokemon games are in a unique spot. They have to change significantly from game to game in order to keep casual fans engaged, have to stand on their own enough to entice new players in and also have to maintain a certain degree of continuity so that dedicated players' collections of monsters work in the new game and will continue to work beyond. Sun and Moon are the first games in several generations that I've honestly felt have nailed them all, and should provide hundreds of hours of entertainment for fans new and old.

This game is much better than XY & ORAS. All the new features and Pokemon, make this game great. I definitely prefer Sun over Moon.

For those who are new to pokemon, this is a fun game. You will love it. For us, who have followed pokemon for years, this was definitely worth the wait. The graphics improved a lot. I didn't know what to expect from the new "no gyms" story, but they nailed it. It came out to be a fun new experience. One thing that is an absolute wish come true is not having the need for HMs (they're now TMs). The new pokémon designs are creative. I haven't gotten that far yet, but the game is hard to put down. It's a lot of fun.

So far I've enjoyed playing this pokemon game. The story is very interesting and the game play is very different from the past.

My entire life I have played the Pokemon games however I was skeptical about this game. I was interested what changes would be made and when I took the chance to pick it up and play the game, it left me speechless. Without spoiling anything, the plot of Pokemon Sun and Moon is much more entertaining than X and Y was and the new features creates the game much more easier and more fun to play! If you were skeptical like I was, do not hesitate and go pick up Pokemon Sun! You will not be disappointed!

The graphics have improved tremendously and the new features add to the atmosphere of the game. The story is also very deep.

I had been waiting for this game for over a year and I was not disappointed at all! Great Game! Great Graphics! Great Story!
