The game is not worth the price tag. Feels like it’s missing some content and the animations aren’t very expressive. But the game is fun and addictive. Still working on collecting all the Pokémon available.

I’ve been playing Pokémon since I was in elementary school. I remember going home after school, firing up my Gameboy, and playing all day. I say this because my experience with the game set my expectation high. I am happy to say that this game met and exceeded my expectations. There are some new features to get used to, but they are good features that add something to the game. The graphics are fantastic (for a Pokémon game) and gameplay is more fun than ever.

This iteration of pokemon is going to be one of my favorites for a long time. While not all the Pokémon are in it, it’s really good and lots of fun. There’s plenty to see and do and 400 Pokémon to catch! The story isn’t beefy which makes for good speed runs! It has a greater emphasis on battling which is great for long time fans like myself. The online could be better but it gets the job done. I recommend it for any new fans or returning fans to the series.

Waste a few hours and catch them all. All the cool kids are doing it… hell your uncool dad and creeper uncle are too. Pokémon is not just for kids anymore

This is Pokemon for long time fans and the next generation. Graphics, gameplay, and open world all equal fun!

Pokemon Sword has been pretty fun! The new pokemon are really cool, and I had a blast beating the game. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because the online didnt work very well for me.

Bought it during a sale and my kids love it and I enjoyed it as well.

Its super fun as like any other Pokémon games. Getting to experience it on a tv just make the experience way more fun in lots of ways. There is loads of stuff to do in game as you probably bought other games as well to still not finish it. I wish you can have a national deck to transfer Pokémon from the Pokémon home app, but overall I love them game. Will for sure keep you playing it for a while.

I've always been a big fan of the pokèmon games, and I have to say the changes they have made in those games over the years are starting to become something even better than what I originally fell in love with. The online multiplayer aspect and the raids are incredibly well worked out, and make it really enjoyable. Not only that but it kept most of it's core mechanics. Once I've finished this game, I'll definitely play shield next.

This was a huge step up from the Let's Go games. There was a lot of backlash because of game freak and the lack of a national dex, but the games still ended up exceeding my expectations. The Galar region looks great and a lot of the new Pokemon have great designs. In my opinion this is a nice step up from Sun/Moon, and thankfully the gym challenge is back. If you haven't already bought a switch, this game is definitely a good reason to now.

I haven't played a Pokemon Game since Gold and Silver. I had Pokemon Gold. Before that I had Red and Blue. This game brought back some old Memories with a modern twist. Sure, the story leaves much to be desired, but the fulfillment in leveling up your Pokemon and strategically building up your team to compete in the gyms is still at an all time high. The 3D "open world" aspect took some getting used to but it hasn't ruined the experience.

Good graphics, lots of new Pokemon, I like how the Pokemon are now in the overworld.

I believe this is a good game for any kids. It provides a good story and for the switch it's amazing.
