This was a Xmas gift and my kid loved it. While he loves anything Pokémon so take that into consideration.

Fun pokemon game with more to do than Let’s go... which was the first style of this play.

My son loves this game. He has finished it but still enjoys playing it from time to time.

This is a great game! Keeps you guessing what is going to happen around every turn. Extremely fun!

Fun game but not much to do after the story line is completed. A fair amount of the characters are just regional variances. There's only a small percentage of new pokemon. If you're a pokemon fan that has to play every game then I would recommend pokemon galar. If you can skip a season then do so. I wouldn't really recommend this story line it was weakly written. Alola is my favorite story line next to kanto.

It’s not Pokemon blue or ruby but it’s still been pretty fun with new elements and better graphics

After playing only until Generation 3 (Pokemon: Emerald, FireRed, etc), I have really enjoyed getting back into the series. The map and design have significantly changed, but the general play-style is still the same. Having a lot of fun playing and exploring!

Good gameplay but super repetitive. Also the random trades make the game too easy

Overall great game. I would recommend to anyone who’s an avid gamer especially those who enjoy RPGs.

Don’t expect a long adventurous playthrough. The gym battling gets repetitive as does the story.
