I can finally say I am just not a Pokemon fan. The game is way to simple and the combat options are just to minimal. If this is your first rpg, I highly recommend it. But for a seasoned veteran that isnt a die hard Pokemon fan, I think it will bore you to tears.

Was a really good game, lasts a while to finish so you don’t get bored and is very interactive only thing i would suggest is to buy the digital version that way you don’t have to worry about losing it since it’s so small

This games was a Christmas Gift for my Grandson and he was very happy with it!

This is a new take on a old classic pokémon game on a home console that which has not been done for quite some time. More unidirectional with less open world features in a classic pokémon game which I hope this is a good for a step to many other great games that may come up in the future.

Despite the issue with missing pokemon, this is the best pokemon game in while.

My brother loves Pokemon games and has all of them, he’s super happy with the new version. He told me the new gyms and some legendary pokemon are a bit more complex to catch so it adds up to the strategy you have to use to play.

20 hours is enough to pass all story, good overall, but story is terrible

There are a number of things that Pokémon Sword (& Shield) does well. But there are a number of problems (performance, visuals, lack of content, etc.) that ultimately hold the game(s) back from being their best. That's not to say that this is a bad game, but it's one that clearly needed more time in the oven.

Could be better and add more, but still a great Pokémon game.

Having fun so far, decent graphics and game play is pretty straight forward.

Son enjoyed it for a Christmas surprise , great fun for his Nintendo switch

Awesome game for the switch. Hope they remake the classics like red or gold.

I am always hesitant when buying games like this, as there are tons out there. This one was pretty challenging for my son. He normally beats the game in one day and doesn't play it again...buy this series of Pokemon games has been fun!
