Loving everything about the game! The Wild area is excellent and makes for a very different/immersive experience from other Pokemon games. Dynamax is also a very cool feature. I was hesitant at first, but so far, I'm enjoying everything about this game.

Great game. After years of not playing Pokemon games since Ruby/Sapphire, I really enjoyed sinking a bunch of hours into this game. I've ordered this game for my niece and nephew as well. Both are getting into the Pokemon universe like this old-timer.

This game is what I imagined since my childhood. Please don’t fully trust all the negative 1 Star reviews. They are biased only towards what the game isn’t doing not what the game actually does. Which gives an open world experience that we’ve never seen in a Pokémon game before.

i was trying to find out what games i could get my girl into, she mentioned that she loved turnbased games back in the day and she had never played pokemon, i got her into lets go pickachu and she was hooked, i got her sword for christmas and she cant stop playing it.

So far just a few hours in, loving many of the changes that the game developers have made to an already amazing series. If you are a Pokémon fan, this is a must own title. I usually don’t keep playing after I beat the main story, but I can already see myself coming back to play!

Purchased this for my son for his new Nintendo Switch. He is in love with the game. The only complaint I have is that I wish I knew prior that I did not need to get both Sword and Shield for him to enjoy the game.

Another solid entry into the Pokemon franchise. The only thing I didn't care for was how everything is kind of linear. It is also alot easier than previous entries and everything happens in a very stepwise fashion.

Bought this game for the memories Pokémon brings to me from when I was a kid and collecting cards and playing Pokémon yellow on the original gameboy. The game does not disappoint with great graphics and gameplay. A must buy for Pokémon lovers.

My daughter really enjoys playing this game, and it is fun to use the awesome new controls.

My 8 year old loves this game as she is a huge pok-e-nerd. :P I, however, was irritated to find out I just spent another $60 on a games that is the same as the last one I bought (Pokemon Shield). It apparently is the same game/story with the only difference is that it has the other 'half' of available pokemon to play along with 2 new non playable "trainers'. Great game, but unless you bleed money, buy only one of the versions!

I bought this game for my 13 year old son to play. He told me how much he loves this game adventuring around collecting and battling Pokemon. I would say from how much he loves to play this with his sister and friends it is a good game.

Its ok, if you're a huge pokemon fan, then you'll love this. Be aware though, the beginning of the game is very slow but worth it once you get on the roll.

I heard other gen Pokémon wouldn’t be available or catchable but they indeed are! This is a great game I like it a lot. I use the poke all plus with it to get rewards like candy and poke balls sadly no exp but that’s alright. Gaining exp by battling is way more fun anyway.

Sword's been a pretty fun game for the most part. It's definitely a little too easy compared to the older generation games like Red and Blue. For example, by the time I got to the first gym, my pokemon were almost all at level 20 because of the automatic shared-all experience points. But the game is definitely a lot of fun because it's a new world and there's so much to explore so I definitely recommend it if you're a Pokemon fan.

Great nintendo switch game. Good game play and easy to use on the switch. Would highly recommend.

Travel around are battle Pokemons from around the Pokemon world. Only negative thing is that characters don't talk and its all subtitled, so you may have to read to the littler ones. However, on that note great way for readers to get better without them even realizing it.

Despite all the rancor coming before this released, it is an excellent pokemon game. I personally don't mind the fact that you can't get all the pokemon in this (They did this on ruby/sapphire if people remember that far back) but they haven't really added anything to build on the 3ds games. Maybe features will be added along the way but for a $60 game of a 25 year old series, they should've done more. Still recommended though!

I've always been a Pokemon fan for years. This is just another fantastic addition to my growing Pokemon game collection. New regions to explore, ongoing battles, and going new Pokemon to catch. I enjoy playing this new adventure in the Pokemon epic.

This was a gift for my son, he just love it the game, the battles and how to capture. Me as a past gamer who start with pokemon yellow doesnt found a better game to introduce to him pokemon. Just great game.

Last played in Gen 4 (Diamond and Pearl) so this was a huge jump for me. This game is simply awesome. New Pokémon, new region, and new features. So far I’m impressed! As someone who started way back on Gen 1, this is still Pokémon and it’s still fun.
