This is an insane value. You get 3 decks fully playable. A game board (the tcg) and all things you need to play the game, dice, damage counters, guide to play. I play with my 8 year old daughter and we love it. You get 3 cool GX cards, 1 in each deck.

This product does a very good job of explaining how to play the game. The three decks are good intros to the mechanics and fairly balanced.

My 5 and 7 year old kids LOVE Pokemon. They had never played the Pokemon trading card game before, but they fell in love with it. We got it on Christmas and we have non stopped been playing it. Its an amazing deal for 3 sets of 60 cards with all the required pieces and board. These starter cards are easy enough for the kids to understand and remember what they do. This is a great way to feel out if your kids wants to get deeper into this card game mania.

Woh this is packed with 3 60 card decks! Charizard, Richu, and a mewtwo decks!! Along with a board game style placement to play and some cheap cardboard msg counters. Well worth the money! I bought a couple to play with and to add to unopened collection

Bought this so our family can learn to play the game together and teach my young son who loves Pokemon. Very impressed with everything it came with. Also love that the instructions walk you through how to play the game step by step. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn to play for the first time.

This is an amazing set to get someone started in the Pokémon trading card game. It has three decent decks and a great instruction list on the game board. If you can read, you can learn to play! If you are a seasoned card collector, this isn’t really worth it though.

This card is so fun. Comes with 3 decks . I think the guide to understand how to play is really easy . My boys nearly got it down on the 1st try .. the damage encounters are trash . Card board ... the game board is nice . Maybe felt or a rough top could of worked better . Overall its awsome to see my kids finally understand the game . Had them grabbing all the cards they had to make decks . Awsome . 10 out of 10 . Even with my dislikes about it. Its that cool . Zuckerberg/parker .. cool

This item is perfect to help learn the Pokémon tcg game. Game board is thick and sturdy, the decks are easy to play with. Great for beginners!

This is such a great deal! If you’re trying to get into the TCG or have friends who don’t have a deck, this is a fantastic way to get them/you into it. The decks work really well together and are made up with real cards, not fake ones designed for this set. Highly suggest to any beginners.

For the price you get a great value with this set. It comes well designed and in a large size box so everything isn't squished into a small box made for cheaper shipping. Any new players or younger players it is a perfect way to get into the series and learn the ways. It has a fair price of $19.99 MRSP and easier to find even with the Pokemon craze right now since there is no sealed booster packs inside. Includes 3 decks with Charizard, Raichu, and Mewtwo so they picked great Pokemon for this set. I wish it was even slightly more expensive say $24.99 but include one Evolutions booster pack or another set with starter Pokemon to help newbies see what makes this game so fun and the thrill of opening a pack.

We purchased this because our kids no longer wanted to just collect cards, but properly duel each other. Because the game comes with 3 fully equipped decks it teaches you how to duel. Being Pokémon fans, my kids (6 and 8) have been able to understand the strategy behind dueling and creating a personalized deck on their own.
