    Got this for my son for Christmas. He recently got into collecting Pokémon cards, so I figured this would be a good way to show him how to use the cards to play the card game.     Came with 3 decks. A charizard, pikachu, and mewtwo. Pretty good for only $25. I cant complain

    My 7 year old son and I played this a couple of times. There are 2 basic decks and one advanced (haven't played with that one yet)... Each card in each deck has a number on it that you use to get the deck ready for play. There is a booklet of instructions for each player and it tells you what to do each turn in order to teach you. It's a great way to learn the game.

    Fantastic "must-have" for beginners; bought this for my son who wanted to get into Pokémon battling. Definitely a lot of fun playing against friends, the deck is definitely not super powerful, but it gives you a good taste for the game and start collecting cards. definitely recommend this version if you are a complete novice

    An excellent value. I’m teaching my 8 year old niece how to play and the pre-constructed decks are great for beginners. They’re a little repetitive for moderately experienced players. The game board is nice. A little disappointed it comes with punch out cardboard damage symbols instead of the original glass pebbles, but that can be solved by a trip to a hobby store.
