I’d not bought an Elite Trainer Box since 2015. But after recently getting back into the Pokemon TCG after finally (finally!) sorting my massive collection I’d amassed through childhood and my teens, and happening upon these boxes at the store, I grabbed one. On the whole, the presentation is nice. But, and yes, this is nitpicky, I don’t like how the box closes. My ‘Ancient Origins’ box, my only point of comparison, closes to make a sealed cube. A proper box. The new Elite Trainer boxes, however, have a “flair” with cutouts in the top half, and therefore don’t cover the entire bottom half. Again, it’s a nitpick, but I’m just not a fan. The bottom layer itself is also real deep. This isn’t a positive or negative, though I see it worth mentioning since it’s also different from my only other Elite Trainer Box. I give the box a 4/5, as it is still a cool looking way to store cards. Still feels sturdy. Looking at value from a pack standpoint, they are a fair bit more expensive per piece. But as a one-off purchase, it’s a fun addition to a TCG collection.

I left 4 stars only because the checkout experience have been very painful (okay fighting the bots, but the double 2 steps recognition is maybe too much, I'd say one check would be enough), and because the two boxes I bought have been shipped in a bag, offering them little to no protection (the boxes didn't "break", but they got hit in many points, ruining the sides of the external posters). Nothing major, but I always expect the best from BB! :) Price was MSRP (that's not a little thing nowadays..)

Great set to collect. Many alternate art cards to chase. Seriously some of the best art work I've seen in a long time. Pay no attention to the way pokemon has packaged this set. The quality control side of manufacturing these has gone down the drain lately so if you see some odd things like loose packs in the 3-pack blister, or loose plastic around the cards, no worries this time friends. It's just the result of mass production.

Not terrible but the pull rates on this set aren’t the best. I managed to pull 3 V cards and I lucked out pulling an alternative art Emploeon V but this set is not the best in terms of pulls. But the ETB at least gives you some nice essential accessories if you love collecting!

Had the product shipped to my residence after it was found that the box was out of stock at the original location. Was at my doorstep fairly quick. Besides a few dings on the edges from shipping the box was in good condition. Very happy I was able to obtain this box to add to my collection

Battle styles has bad pull rates so that’s a given. 1 pack I got a full art trainer so that covered the cost. Recommend especially if you’re getting back to collecting. The box is a good place to store the cards in.

Great buy. The only reason i didn’t give a perfect rating is because you can’t choose your color and you don’t get a promo card with it.

Giving a slightly above average rating only because the package came so fast, but it's a fine set, nothing to crazy.

Decent cards in this set but nothing too crazy. Personally, my pulls weren't great but thats the risk you take!

I enjoyed opening this, got some neat cards. I'm not a huge fan of the battle styles additions to the game, but nice artwork nonetheless.

Like the design of the boxes, just wish the packs had better pull rates.

Package was sealed and everything inside the box, unfortunately not the greatest of cards inside, maybe next time!

Was delivered fast and well protected.FYI there is a chance to get the blue box or red box.

Fun to open and worth the money for any collector. The box makes a nice collectible

Great value and great for displaying. Don’t pay over MSRP for anything Battle Styles.

Bad pulls but that’s the way it goes! Was excited to find some actual cards

Battle styles kinda sucks not as good as other sets but the etb was aight

The ETB was in great shape and a perfect addition to my collection.
