Don't know if it is because of the camera itself or if the cartridge, but the pictures came out a bit dark. It's really cool that it's rechargeable, but pics came out a bit too dark.

Hi SnLiv, I'm sorry to hear that! If photos are coming out too dark, it may be that you are standing too far away from what you are photographing for the flash to reach. Please contact our customer service team at usa [at] polaroid [dot] com and we can help.

Price is comparable to other instant cameras. Found the small size to be a novelty. Rechargeable battery was a pro in that I wouldn't have to buy batteries, but in the long run would have to replace the whole camera should the battery performance wear down. The biggest con for me was, even with the flash, the pictures turned out very dark. If you want to have good quality instant photos, this is not the camera would recommend.

Hi Nutty, I'm sorry to hear about your issues. If you are getting dark photos, it likely means that you are standing too far away from what you are trying to photograph for the flash to reach. Please contact our customer service team at usa (at) polaroid (dot) com and we can help.

I’m a fan of Polaroid, so wanted to added this to my collection. Small enough to fit into a purse or small bag. Picture quality is what you’d expect from this kind of camera, not a super sharp image, but also not blurry. Happy medium. Great to have instant pics when I’m on a fun outing a the kiddos. The only reason it doesn’t get all four stars is because a pack of film only comes with 8 photos, which can get expensive. Also, have to out in a dark spot to develop completely and takes awhile for the pic to fully develop. Otherwise no other cons for me.

Cool fun little camera. Photos are small and expensive. After watching a YouTube video it was easy to use. Wife will enjoy the instant memories I'm sure!

    Compact Polaroid Images

Overall satisfaction of the Polaroid Go Camera-Everything Box is dependent on expectation. If you are looking for a true polaroid film camera, wrapped up in a small package, here you are! But if you are looking for a polaroid style camera [not necessarily polaroid film] there are likely better options out there and this camera will disappoint. This camera itself is adorable. The size being slightly larger than a fist. The “Everything Box” comes with not only the camera but a package of film. The package of film includes two cartridges, each with 8 polaroid films. So, you are equipped to get started, for the first 16 pictures at least. The instructions to insert film are quite simple, and the film loads well into the camera and is ready to go. Being polaroid film, there is a light shield device that will cover the photo as it prints out from the camera. Use is simple – Once the film is loaded, press the shutter button, and slide the photo out from under the light shield. Then 15-20 mins later, protected from light, the polaroid is ready! (The mini-polaroid that is!) The image quality was not necessarily what I expected… I’ve had a couple polaroid “style” cameras, but not with slow developing polaroid film. These images look as such, vintage from an era past. The camera is equipped with a flash, self-timer, double exposure button to allow for necessary adjustments. There is a counter display, to indicate the number of photos left. There is also the addition of a selfie mirror, playing to the photography focus style of the current generation. The mirror works quite well to indicate what will appear on the film. And with use, I do advise to have the camera turned off unless intending to take a photo, as my wife accidently took a photo while just casually walking around. As mentioned at the beginning – satisfaction of this camera depends on use. This is a compact polaroid film camera, providing wonderfully vintage small images. The polaroid images are just that, polaroid. These are not printed photos in a polaroid style, so expect the subsequent image quality to be as such, requiring development. With that in mind, go forward accordingly. The old-style polaroid vintage feel is here, in a compact way.

I got this camera for my trip to Mexico as a fun way to capture memories. The film had no issues after going through US and Mexican security and the size of the camera made it easy to tuck into my carry on. It’s a great little camera, I just recommend making sure to fully charge it before beginning to use it.

What a cool little camera! I wanted something more travel friendly, that I could throw in my bag and go. This is great! The pictures are small, but super crisp and clear, and the battery charge on the camera lasted through several packs of film. Very impressed with it. Super simple to use and still get great pictures.

I had to smile when I opened this. Brought back many memories from years ago when I had Polaroid. This is a nice small size, my pockets are small so it doesn't fit in my pockets but fits nicely in my purse and also was easy to carry on my wrist with the included strap. The overall look of the camera is pretty neat. My children thought it is cool, they've only used digital cameras. It's very easy to use and take pics. Options are: to use flash if needed, take selfie, self timer or double exposure. Amazing to have so many options from such a small camera. Photos taking inside and outside came out pretty ggod, vintage like, I would say. Instructions are clear and simple to follow. The only reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars, is the development process. It's not a huge deal if using inside but when using outside, like at the park, the lake, I found it a bit tricky. Once the photo ejects, you leave it covered with the film shield for 5 seconds then remove photo. Remember not to shake this not like the old time camera. And then you have to leave the photo in a dark place or face down on a flat surface to shield from light for 10-15 minutes until it fully develops. That's my only con. So we plan ahead of taking it outdoors and away from home. All in all it's cute, cool and fun.

    Recreate vintage Polaroid photos

Bought as gift for my niece for Christmas. This thing is TINY. It literally fits in the palm of your hand. The print outs are even smaller. The initial set up was pretty easy but we wasted about 4 films trying to figure out how the end result will look like. The finished photos will have that vintage/ nostalgic vignetted look to it, I guess trying to mimic the old Polaroid pictures. If you want print outs that accurately depicts the scene, this is not the camera for you. You might be better off with other brands such as Fujifilm. But if you want the vintage original Polaroid look, then you will not be disappointed with this one.

This mini camera is neat and just like any other Polaroid! It does take some trial and error and the picture quality is not as sharp, but just like the other Polaroid cameras they are more of a fun little gadget to be creative with.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. The pictures develop similar to the original, but the size of the picture is much smaller. If you want larger pictures, go with the other model.
