Customers are saying

Customers admire the Lab Printer's excellent print quality, finding it easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. The accompanying app is also praised for its intuitive design and ease of use. However, some users point out that the film cost is high and the printer's size is a drawback for portability.

i am very impresssed by the technology of the lab. it's basically a black room in your living room or in your backpack. that's pretty amazing. it's a fun way of printing polaroid pictures if you are into that style. don't expect the pictures to be as sharp and precise as they are on your camera. the colors need some adjustment here and there and the exposure is also not always very accurate. but if you set your mind to it then you are good to go. The quality of an actual polaroid camera is for sure better but it is not si handy to carry around if you are out and about. so i have both, a camera and the lab and i think if you love polaroid pictures like i do, it's definitely worth checking it out.

This printer is easy to use and has a self-guided app that makes the process of installing and printing pictures extremely seamless. Bought this and the Polaroid Onestep+ and I find myself using this more. Must-have for Polaroid-photo lovers!

I have had so much fun translating cell phone images to Polaroid images using this device! It gives everything a retro look and feeling. Especially effective in taking color images and printing on Polaroid b&w film

I love the Lab Printer. While having a polaroid or film camera is awesome, I just don't have it with me all the time...but I always have my phone. So I'm able to capture pictures on the go and later print them as a film photo.

Fun and easy to use, very basic and only works with the app. Wish it had more features for exposure or more control over image presentation. Be prepared to practice perfecting light control on your phone screen and how it’s angled. You will burn through at least one pack of film before you find what works. Be careful of dark images. They process even darker and slightly more muted from a phone screen. Remove any screen protectors or barriers as well, they will effect the outcome of your images.

I received the Polaroid Lab Printer and 2 packages of film at no charge for the purpose of this review. I never had a Polaroid camera so this was a new experience for me. It is an interesting design and it does function as promised but the photos that were produced did not meet my expectations. The product guide recommended that the phone case and screen protector on the phone be removed. THIS IS TOO CUMBERSOME! The procedure required placing your phone over the lens of the printer and the picture was developed from the image the printer produced from the phone screen. Alignment was a little tricky but the light indicator revealed when the phone was properly aligned. When the red button at the base of the printer was pressed, the picture was ejected from the printer almost instantly and the picture development would be complete in about 15 minutes. The photo cartridge holds 8 pictures and was easy to load. So far, so good. The procedure to print a picture required a fairly short learning curve. The pictures take about 15 minutes to develop. Acceptable Not experienced with owning a Polaroid camera, I have seen Polaroid pictures that have been taken and they never seemed to be as clear as those that go through normal channels of development. This is my experience with this printer. Unfortunately, the quality of the photos is just not there. That might have been acceptable decades ago but not so in this day and age. The printer seems pricy considering the quality and the cost cartridges make the overall cost too prohibitive. There are other means to develop or print pictures from a cell phone that would produce higher quality pictures at a fraction of the price of this product.

Went into Best Buy to buy a Polaroid camera. I’ve seen this product and was interested. Weighed out the options in my head buy a old school Polaroid and have that nostalgic experience or buy the lab!? The lab give you options! I can take that magical pic 2,3,4,5 times and “pic” out the best one. Now I’m never getting a so so Polaroid. I print the best one and still get that classic Polaroid picture we all love! Now I don’t have to waist money on film. I know the shot I’m going to get. The one thing I should say for everyone who likes to skip the directions iPhone users turn off True Tone when printing or you will not get as good of a print.

This thing is awesome and super cool. Being able to take photo that I’ve taken on my phone and put them to a Polaroid is something I’ve been thinking so it for a while so I’m happy to see something in the market. With that said, I don’t think it’s worth the money. I used it for a couple hours, it basically just takes a photo of your screen, and the film is quite expensive which makes me wonder how often I would really be using this and if it would just be sitting collecting dust most of the time.

Bought it for my fiancé and she uses it a couple times a week! She LOVES it. After looking at it for over a year she was not disappointed with the quality, she was even a little shocked because it was so much better than she expected. I did accidentally knock it off her desk and it has a bit of an issue printing on the first try now. We were a little confused that such a small drop onto a thick plush carpet would do that but other than that very satisfied. BE GENTIL WITH IT IF YOU BUY IT! LOL

Worked with both android and apple, My kids had a lot of fun printing out the pics from their phones. The directions should stress the importance of first removing certain picture settings on your phone, it would have saved us in the learning curve. Overall a good phone pic. printer. Everyone could use and we all enjoyed it!

Very fun printer. I got it to print some photos of my pets, but soon realized I could turn digital images into Polaroid prints and began printing screenshots from games I play online with my friends. It's a bit silly, I understand, but having a physical print of that in such a nostalgic format really makes it feel special. I'd recommend this to anybody that enjoys polaroid format photos
