I like it, but the film doesn’t always come out nicely

In the days of digital photos it’s kinda nice to have something that is analog and harkens back to different times... The Polaroid One Step 2 works like the original One Step did and gives you great looking instant photos you can hold in your hands but with a rechargeable battery which is a great addition. You also have the built in flash that you can control, turn it off, set it to auto etc.. The pictures you take with this camera have a great look and you can choose from color, b&w and color pics with different colored frames around them. Just make sure you get the correct film for either the itype Polaroid Cameras or 600 film. There is something about being able to take a picture, have it develop before your eyes and then being able to pass that pic around for all to see that is so satisfying and different...or you make some great photo displays or collages, something you just can’t do with a digital pic with out of course printing it out. A fun inexpensive camera to add some analog to your digital world.

What can I say, The Polaroid One Step 2 is still awesome and now even better than before. I had one of these in 7th grade and took hundreds of pictures with it. When the opportunity came up to get the One Step, I was really excited. First off, this looks just like the original, second it has some nice modern upgrades. Like the lens, rechargeable battery, self timer, some minor control over exposure and flash, and finally the pictures look just like a Polaroid should, colors a little washed out, and just that Polaroid look, I love it. I started shooting film on a Nikon FG, and for those who have never experienced it, there is just nothing more magical than watching a picture slowly develop before your eyes. If you want and like nostalgia, you’ll love this camera, if you want crisp, razor sharp, nicely saturated color photos, this is not the camera for you. This camera was designed to be fun, and not take itself too seriously and it does exactly that. Get it and have some fun.
