    Seems like a well made product vs the stock lock. Only downfall is gimbal fits little loosely so it can still move around a bit

    Not a terrible product, but it locks my gimbal in at a weird angle and I don't like the spacing between the lens cover and the lens.

    This does not fit as easily as the one included with the Mavic. I keep it as a backup, it does protect the lens as well but again, the protective cover that comes with the Mavic is just as good.

    Stabilizes camera but a little hard to remove. Could easily damage gimbal assembly if not careful. Bought in clearance now understand why it was on clearance.

    One time when i turned on my mavic after removing this unit and the gimbal tripped out.... since then i never used it again and the issue has not happened.

    I bought my Mavic used and it was missing the stock gimbal protector, so I don't know how this compares to that. However, this product locks the gimbal in place securely, and protects the lens at the same time. Installation is fast and easy, and it almost makes the protective bubble unnecessary.
