I use this shade with my Ipad mini and my 3DR Solo. This shade is very well made and with just a little modification I was able to use it with the Solo ! It is white to match the DJI, which you would expect, but I would have preferred a choice for black. It has a suction cup attachment to the device that helps keep it in position .

I am using an iPad air as my FPV and this works perfectly to cut glare on a bright sunny day. If I had to guess they probably used an iPad to design this hood. It integrates well with the Phantom 4 controller. Easy on and off. It appears to be well constructed. 2-months into it now an no problems.

I actually didn't buy this for my DJI product specifically, but to use on my external monitor set-up on an outdoor production. For not being specifically designed for my purpose it worked great so I'm sure it will work great on your DJI controller.

This is a great durable shade that fits great on your remote. I bought a ipad mini 4 as my screen for my DJI Phantom. The remote, mini and shade fits very good together and definitely helps block the excess light from my screen. Absolutely worth the money.
