The sound quality is excellent for a 6 1/2 inch replacement speaker, a ton of mid and low range bass that is crystal clear even at high volume. It may have as good high range but it sits next to my feet on the floor of my S10 pickup and is not directional enough to hear it over the high range back speakers. Due to moisture all four of the original speaker cones had separated from the speaker chassis, so the fact that these are for marine use is a big bonus. I actually bought them because they were on sale and a good name brand and was certainly not expecting the kind of power and clarity these things put out at that price point. These are by far the best 6.5 inch speakers I have ever heard, the bass actually vibrates the back window from the front. If you need to replace stock speakers without modding the interior, look no farther, these are great.

Great clarity and bass. Sound quality is superb and no distortion at higher volume levels.This is an amazing speaker, especially considering the price you pay comparing it to other competitor speakers for around the same price. No regrets here, 100% satisfaction!

I was hesitant to buy these speakers thinking they would only give a marginal increase in fidelity. I upgraded the speakers in a 2014 Fusion. Fortunately I was wrong. They sound very good, handle all that the factory unit can put out without any distortion. Bass is surprisingly good as are the mids and highs. If you need heavy bass a sub is needed. For me though the sound is much better than the toy factory speakers. The price from BB was the best I could find anywhere.

These speakers give an excellent value for a very reasonable price. Sound quality is good and install was easy.

Great speakers for marine application. Easy to install but make sure you get the right connector sizes.

These speakers work great. I got a pair of these speakers to replace old speakers in my hot tub cabinet. My wife likes to crank up the music and I haven't heard any distortion or crackling sounds. For the price I don't think they can be beat. The grill cover doesn't let you see the good quality speakers underneath, but I'm sure they'll protect from the sun and elements and keep creating great sound for years to come!!

I bought this speakers as a substitute to the ones on the Factory Subwoofer ( 1999 Range Rover ) and they really sound better than expected. Bass is good, no distortion at all. Guidance by the store techs was great and they understood I wasn't looking for a competition subwoofer speakers. The also provided some guidance in another issue regarding wiring.

Have four of these speakers hooked up to a Rockford 300x2 Amp on a Harley Ultra Classic, Sounds worlds above stock. Only complaint 1 quit working over winter storage. Replaced with a new pair under geek squad warranty which of course didn't cover the full amount since I bought them on sale before. Replaced with same speakers, very happy other than the dead one.

I purchased four of these speakers to compliment he 10" Polk Audio sub woofer that I installed into my car. The sub has a very low frequency response and the 6-1/2" speakers fill in the mid-low frequency. I also have tweeters so the system now sounds great.

These speakers perform well on an open pontoon boat, the aluminum tweeters are to bright for inside a car. The components do well in a car with the soft dome tweeter. Both create great mid bass when amplified and installed correctly. No complaints other than the grills are pretty big, looks like an almost an 8 inch with the grills installed (mounting the grills with the original foam gaskets is tricky, use 2 tiny pieces of painters tape to hold foam gasket, then remove tape once all screws are loosely installed)

I installed both speaker within an hour and I'm very pleased with the new sound. The old speakers are made of paper, which was ripped around the entire diameter of the speaker.

Added these to what was considered a premium sound system in a G8, but that was nothing compared to what it sounds like now. Now I would consider it "PREMIUM"

My stock chevy Silverado speakers got wet, shorting them out, when I left the window down, and it rained. Not these, they are marine grade and sound great!

I replaced my factory speakers with these. They not only sound great, but they were also easy to install in my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Every set of instructions on the web stated that I needed to buy an adapter kit because the holes don't match the factory speakers. Guess what? It comes with its own adapter to install in the place of the factory speakers. Polk is such a great brand. I will replace my rear speakers with Polk when I 'm ready.

Upgraded the speakers in my 05 ram with polks front and rear. Couldn't be more pleased with my choice in going with these speakers. The sound is alot clearer and responsive compared to the stock speakers. Also these are marine rated which means you dont have to worry about moisture which is always great in the humid climates. Would buy them again!

I've always liked Polk products and decided to go with these for my Bronco. Sound great for the money like all Polk products.

I bought these speakers because my car was lacking depth and sound and they turned out to be fantastic. Best investment ever.

Got these on sale, but would have paid full price. They sound great!! They work great and made a noticeable improvement to the quality of the sound in the car.
