While it sounded nice and loud with the S2 surrounds, I found the sound to be not too articulate and forward sounding...surround sound speakers did not have the articulation and directional properties with sound effects and are not atmos speakers,no up firing drivers. Hard to describe just sound everywhere... While this may be good for some ,The vizio Elevate walks all over this for a much more reasonable price...

The Polk Audio MagniFi Max AX soundbar has height speakers located in the main soundbar. Regarding the sound being forward, speakers require a bit of break-in, and it is customary to sound a tad forward during the break-in period. SPEAKERS POP!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This would have been a great product if one of the rear speakers didn't always pop on movies & streaming. Bass is on 0 & it still pops & Polk doesn't sell these speakers buy themselves. Also, for some odd reason this was listed as 7.1 in the past but now BestBuy list it at 5.1?! Even on Polk's website it's still listed at 7.1. Unless Polk can tell me how to fix popping then I will change review & not send back. By the way, there is no internet interference as they claim
