This is one of the best sound systems I’ve ever purchased. I’m planning on purchasing another one for our living room. It has such an awesome surround sound as if your in the actual movie theater. I like the fact you don’t have to mount it on the wall and it’s not bulky.

his soundbar has a lot to offer in such a small form factor. Pros: 1. If your TV has an ARC port, kiss the optical cable goodbye! Better sound quality and your TV remote will actually control the volume. Bonus: you can actually see an onscreen indicator of your volume changes. No more guessing if it's turned up all the way. 2. This comes with all the cables you could need, aside from an Ethernet cable, should you not want to use wifi for chromecast. 3. Android users can take advantage of the chromcast feature that's built in. I couldn't get iOS to cast to it, so your results may vary. 4. Ability to turn up the voice volume. I'm sure it's just an equalizer trick, but it's neat when watching louder movies that tend to drown out the dialog. Setting it to the right tone works very well. The dialog is way better. 5. Night mode that works very well. 6. Bluetooth, so you can stream audio; plus, it sounds great. 7. Wireless Subwoofer. Just plug it in, and you're all set. It just worked from the start. 8. Small size, but a lot of audio. I was surprised just how good this sounds, compared to my Bose Cinemate soundbar. Cons: 1. For those who are wanting a wall mount solution, you can't mount this. 2. Using the Google Home app to setup wifi. I had a few issues with the app giving me an error during setup on my iPhone. Ultimately, I dug out my android tablet and that seemed to work fine. Before you ask, yes I was typing the right password, even made the password viewable, just wouldn't connect. Seemed to work fine with Android. 3. On that note, even after setup, I couldn't get any Google app to see the soundbar for casting, audio or video with my iOS device. Even the test videos and audio in the app couldn't see it, just my existing chromecast device. The android tablet couldn't see it either.

Small form factor for the soundbar which made it perfect for my RV. The sounds is great and loud. Lots of bass with the subwoofer. Super easy setup. I am having an issue with it not powering on when I turn on the TV but only some of the time so I cannot fault this unit yet. Overall, perfect for my needs.

I have difficultly understanding what’s being said on tv, partly because I’m deaf in one ear. Therefore, I was looking for a sound bar that addressed voice clarity. This one does it very well. Do I miss some words, sure, but prior to purchasing this sound bar, I was missing whole conversations. Another big plus is the fact that it is small. Our prior sound bar was huge, but got damaged during our move to a new home. I had planned on spending less money on a new sound bar, but when I listened to it during a demonstration at the store, I forked over the money for it!

Great Sound Quality, Hate the Style

The sound quality from this thing is great. I've had it for about a week. If you don't mind the style of it, the sound quality is awesome from this little guy. I thought it was black. It's actually grey. It doesn't match my entertainment center and it sticks out like a sore thumb. The sub is black and on the box it all looks black, alas, it is not. Shame because if I weren't so obsessive about things matching, I would love it. Oh well. I recommend it for sound quality, not style or color. The more I look at it, the less I like it.

Very happy with the price/sound ratio. I bought this unit for my garage to listen to music while working out there and the sound is great. Really like the Bluetooth connection is strong and doesn’t drop like some cheaper less quality speakers.

I was surprised to see such incredible crisp sound come from such a small device. Has got to be one of the most un-assuming devices to deliver such raw power from a box smaller than a DVD player. Easy set-up too.

This is the best speaker I've own. I also own a boss speaker, but the Polk speaker has a better sound quality and more bass. I was debating to get another boss speaker and heard both side to side and I just had to go with the Polk speaker. I'm in love with my new Polk audio speaker. I have never heard of Polk but after hearing it at the store, I just had to get it. It's perfect. It even has some cool features, like night mode and you can adjust if u want more bass or voice. Amazing product :)

This is a really nice system if you're looking for compact and inexpensive. We have this in a large living room but didn't have much space for speakers in or near the TV cabinet. We have an older Panasonic plasma TV with front facing built in speakers. I'd say there is a slight improvement in overall sound level with the Polk Mini but seems like a definite improvement at louder levels. At first I didn't notice much difference, but the longer I used the Polk mini soundbar I noticed the sound, especially dialogue, was crisper and cleaner and easier to hear. The subwoofer is small and only makes a difference if you are sitting near it but we really like that it is wireless. I really don't have anything to compare this to but if you're looking for a really compact system for a small room or space, this is pretty good. If you are an audiophile and/or want more features, than you probably need to look into top end speakers.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the power and depth of our Polk MagniFi Mini soundbar. For such a small footprint, it sure packs a lot of punch. It was easy to connect and sync the wireless subwoofer. A handy little remote comes with the system that provides for 3 different sound controls. If I were a true audiophile, I'd probably opt for a more expensive system with individual speakers for a better surround sound experience, but for the price, this little gem is hard to beat. 4 and 1/2 stars.

This speaker will surprise you for sure. Don't be fooled by the size of it. It can definitely shake the room when fully cranked. The surround sound is not like 5.1 channel but you will definitely feel some surround effects. I think this speaker is better than buying Vizio 5.1 or Sony 5.1 and trying to fit the extra surround speakers somewhere in the room. Definitely worth the money.

This mini surround sound has a good sound, maybe not the best, but good for it's size. I mostly bought it based on the size. I don't have a ton of room left by the TV due to multiple hubs. I have heard better from Sony, but it was too big for my space. Sometimes I have a hard time keeping it off.

Bought this to replace a Visio soundbar that had sub woofer and 2 rear speakers that died after only 3 years. Decided to try this more compact system. Very pleasantly surprised. Sound is excellent and sub woofer delivers! Had my feet up on coffee table and felt vibration while listening to a show with intense music. Compact size of soundbar allowed me to place at base of TV without covering the TV's IR. Simple to set up. Had to use optical cable on cable box.

First off, I love Polk Audio soundbars. They are reasonably priced and sound great. I have two before I purchased this one and they both have been more than great. My experience with previous hardware led to me believe the smaller unit, which I've been looking for a replacement for the first one, would be just as good. When I turned on the demo unit in the store, I was excited. At the high volume it was not distorted and bass was not overpowering. At the low volume it was still clear and the sub did just enough to sound good. When I brought mine home and started to use it, I appreciated the fact that the remote was bigger than previous ones. It is now easier to find and click the buttons to adjust volumes. I wish it was backlid since it can be tough to figure out the buttons in the dark. Bluetooth capabilities have been improved and easier to connect. Omni app is no longer necessary, which is great because I neither got the point of using it nor was able to get it to work with my second soundbar. Overall I love it and if you use a TV stand in a smaller living room, it is a necessity for any audiophile whom doesn't find a need to spend too much.

We bought one of these a couple years ago when it first came out. We love how compact it is, easy to hear voices and fills the room with sound, without taking up much space or complicated setup. Over the 2 years it has worked great via hdmi ARC. We needed a Soundbar for our family room and I first bought a different one and wasn’t happy. I knew I should have bought another Polk mini, and that’s what I did. It works so well and sounds great, it’s not gonna provide you with IMAX theater sound, but it will improve everyday tv/movie watching. The bass is defined and laid back, mids are smooth and highs are clear but not bright, it leans on the side of warm which I like. I have found it sounds best starter out of the box not using any sound field EQ “music/movie/sports”. Polk provides a nice solid remote with useful button, though we use our Roku to control everything, it’s nice to see a real remote, a credit card size button cell one. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Soundbar. I do know proper set up effects the sound you hear, getting Dolby Digital signal improved separation as well.

It's ok I bought this since I live in an apartment and I wanted something other than the tv speakers but still something small without having to pay alot of money for it. I goes in and out sometimes and it disconnects every now and then from my Samsung tv. I just bought a house so this will be going in my bedroom and I will be upgrading to something better in the living room. But all and all the sound is really good.

This little sound bar continues to amaze our family. It has really enhanced our tv/movie experience. It was very easy to set up and puts out an incredible amount of sound. It came with a variety of connection cables which was a nice bonus. We ended up using the optical cable for our situation. It's very handy that you can program the system to recognize volume controls from existing remotes. My only, very minor, gripe is that you can't switch to bluetooth mode from the remote.
