Fantastic center speaker for my Polk system. I needed a little more center speaker than the one I had for better voices and this for the bill. Very happy!

purchased three xt35 center channel speakers. right, center, and left channel sounds amazing.

This sounds great. After years of having a mix of speakers on my system, I finally went with all POLK and I have not been disappointed.

The Polk Audio ST35 speaker was guaranteed by the sales agent to be compatible with the tv that I ordered. I specifically asked this question several times over because I am technology challenged and I have no way of making that assessment on my own. 3 weeks later the installers arrived. The installers informed me that the Polk XT35 speaker was not compatible with the tv and they would have to come back when we received a compatible speaker. The rest of the story gets downright ugly. I could not possibly recreate the entire scenario, but having talked with several Best Buy customer service agents who barely spoke English - the whole scenario turned into a nightmare. You can't speak to a supervisor with the authority to fix the problem. Today I believe I spoke with 4 different agents trying to get a correct speaker for our TV. Two of the agents said I would have to call back tomorrow. The other 2 just disappeared without an inkling of resolution. Why would I have to wait to get a corrected speaker tomorrow? It made no sense and seemed like a delay tactic. Most businesses take care of their mistakes upon the customer identifying the problem. Not so with Best Buy. And to top it off, the last 2 agents said I would have to go to a Best Buy store and get a remedy there. When Best Buy agents put this package together you would think they could determine with certainty the compatibility between the speaker and the TV? They were asked this question more than once. Why should I have to drive 90+ minutes each way to fix an error made by Best Buy customer service? Why should the customer be responsible to return the wrong item to the store!! And again, this would make anyone's blood boil. This is only half of the story. I hope supervisors or someone with authority actually read the chats pertaining to the order entry part of this transaction. I was so frustrated over a period of days. It turned out to be a big mistake. The TV is difficult to use, only has one remote clicker. but the picture is really nice. Turns out this TV was a big mistake as well as, buying at Best Buy.

Great Center Channel speaker if you're on a financial budget

It added greater depth to the sound of movies and games. Spoken dialog was clearer and easier to understand.

Great size. Sounds good overall, if a bit heavy and boxy sounding in the mids.

It works as it's suppose to. I felt it sounded better for Voices better than the Sony Core..but that is subjective, everything sounds different depending on your set up and home. 3-way center channels always sound better to me, but not many companies make them...I don't know why

This Polk center channel is outstanding ! The sounds you hear along with the other speakers are just awesome

Crisp sound. Kind of bulky could be a little slimmer to fit under tv. Sounds good even behind the TV from the speakers being low inside the box.
