The Polks were on sale at Best Buy, so I was looking through them. While the specs for these don't include much low end (60 Hz.) I decided to give them a try. Since they were a retrofit, it took about 10 minutes to pull down the old speakers and mount these. I then fired up the system and got no sound. So I kept bumping up the volume. (you know where this is going) Ultimately I realized I picked the net radio and it takes a few to 15 seconds to buffer. BOOM, on they came with a vengeance. Wow. My wife was inside and she opened the door and said "these are great! Maybe too much?" I said no I just have them too loud. Lowered the volume and they still sounded terrific. Highly recommended.

They are basically twins of these. I also purchased a new 9.2 receiver and added a 2 channel amp for a 11.2 system. Running a 7.2.4 configuration. Using the 3 pairs of these for the rear back surround and two pair of top channels for Atmos and DTS/X. After 50 hours of break in they are doing very well. Just make sure you are not pushing too much bass thru them. I have the crossover set in the receiver at 80Hz,

The speaker is a little weak on bass and depth of sound. This seems to be a "Best Buy" brand speaker as it is not for sale anywhere but Best Buy, so difficult to compare. Speaker specifications are similar to a Polk Audio Atrium 5.

They lack a responsive low end and, even at a relatively low volume the sound seems distorted particularly when the music is mastered at a higher end. They were easy to set up and use but I may end up looking for an alternative with broader range
