Blocks out background noise!

These wireless headphones are comfortable during long sessions and are the perfect headset for your needs especially since they work well at home, then take to the office which is a seamless operation. It also can be paired with optional Voyager Office Base to connect as a traditional desk phone. Also great for desk share and hot deskers at Call Centers.
Negatives: Power button is small and hard to find while wearing headset.
I used the included BT700 USB dongle to connect to my desktop at home, it instantly connected right away and was fully functional out the box. After downloading the Poly windows program, it prompts me to update the dongle and headset separately, everything installed without a hitch. I also connected to my phone (Goggle Pixel 6) via Bluetooth (Android Poly app was not available at the time but is coming) which also connect quickly with no issues. At the office I have the headset connected via Bluetooth, the devices switched between devices and performs well throughout the day. Another option is that headphones can be used as a wired Headset with USB cable mode and is Teams/Zoom certified. There is an on-call indicator to let others know when you are on a call.
Sound quality is good with the noise canceling dual mic that eliminates background noise. Callers stated that they could me clearly and hear nothing going on in the background, at home I use to have turn off my TV during Zoom calls now I no longer need to do that. This is the same at work in the office where many co-workers are on the phone with clients.
The Plantronics Voyager battery last 3 days with a whopping 164 feet of range if you use the dongle wireless.
To sum it up: This device performs well and highly recommended to connects to calls from: PC, smartphone. Includes USB-A or USB-C connectivity with BT700 Adapter. 47hr listening time, 1.6hrs for a full chars. Includes an on-call indicator to let others know when you are on a call. Crystal-Clear audio for a better voice communication.

About the Voyager 4310 UC
The Voyager 4310 UC is a single-ear Bluetooth headset designed for use in the home, office, or on the go. It features a dual mic with noise cancellation for the microphone to mitigate background noise on your calls. A comfortable padded headband, over the ear headphone, and long battery life help you all day long while the Bluetooth connection gives you wireless freedom to move around.
Packaging & What It Comes With
The packaging was a little strange. It looks like a straight forward box with components that slide out. Upon opening you will see that there is an outer packaging for display with an internal cardboard box. The two seem to be glued together making for an awkward opening. It’s hard not to tear the outer box, and it’s difficult to close back.
Inside the box you will find the headset fully assembled. There is a USB Bluetooth adapter, carrying case, USB-C to USB-A cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter, and instructions.
Features
Noise-Cancelling Mic - The headset boasts a noise cancelling dual mic with Acoustic Fence Technology for blocking out sounds from your background so that they don’t end up on your call.
Bluetooth – It comes with its own Bluetooth adapter, so you don’t need to purchase anything separately to get this to work. Also, it will work with Bluetooth supported laptops or through Bluetooth 5.2 on your mobile device. The range should be up to 50 feet.
Online Indicator – There is a light indicator to show when you are on a call.
Long Talk Time – Have up to 24 hours of wireless talk time. Use a cord for unlimited talk time.
MS Teams Button – Has a dedicated button for MS Teams.
First Impressions
The headset has a sturdy build and looks like an appropriate headset for the office. The padding is thick and comfortable on the headband, and the ear pad is soft as well. The USB cord is long enough to plug into a desk placed laptop if you need to use it in a wired manner (say you forgot to charge or were losing charge during a call). The USB-A to USB-C adapter is also nice for flexibility. The carrying case is nice to have for the charging cable and adapter pieces.
Connectivity
You can pair straight to Bluetooth if you’d like. This product does have an available app for your phone. I recommend downloading the app first and connecting through the app. The app gives you many control options for the headset, and the connection seems to work better with it. Also, there was a firmware update available that required the app to load.
I tested two of these headsets. The first one that I got was defective out of the box. It lost connection with all laptops and phones that I tried. Sometimes that happens even with the best products. I simply exchanged it for the second headset and things went just fine from there.
For the purposes of testing I tried a wired USB connection to laptop, a Bluetooth connection to laptop, and a Bluetooth connection to my phone and all worked well.
Buttons and Call Indicator
The buttons on the headset were generally easy to use and find. I appreciate being able to check the battery level so I know before I go into a long meeting.
The Call Indicator Light is really nice to have. It simply flashes red on the outside of the ear piece to show that you are actively on a call. It would be nice if more people in my office had this. Many use earbuds that you can’t see until you are about ready to speak to them. I get tired of having to mime “Are you on a call?” before I can talk to them.
Battery
I am still using my first charge, so I do not have any indication that the battery is less than stated. Pretty solid here. Also have the corded option for when it is time to charge again.
Comfort
The headband is very padded and comfortable. The ear piece is over-the-ear and is also well padded. Very comfortable on which is important if you use it all day long.
Clarity
The sound quality is very good when listening to others. Others say that my voice was very clear and came through strongly. The Acoustic Fence Technology seemed to help quite a bit keeping my background noise out of the calls. This is for both MS Teams calls and mobile phone calls.
I’m giving the Voyager 4310 4 stars. I would give it 4.5 stars if that were an option. It seems to be made well, has a professional appearance, works as it said it should, and is clear on both ends of the call.

Super clear audio from dual element microphone

Plantronics continues to impress. This headset is super light and comfortable to wear. The boom microphone can be worn on either side of your head. A small red button on the boom mic turns the mic on or off.
Able to provide 24 hours of use, the headset is rechargeable via an included USB cord. I was able to pair the unit via Bluetooth without any effort or trouble. I used my app to record and play back audio and was amazed at the clarity of both the mic and the earphone. Volume controls are accessed via the earpiece disc. A BLUE and RED light helped me be aware of both charge status and Bluetooth connectivity.
What's in the box: The headset of course, a black cloth bag with drawstrings and an inner pouch to safely stow the USB Bluetooth dongle and USB adapter, a USB charging cord. You can use you cellphone charger with the included cord and adapters. This lightens the load on the environment. Who needs another charging CUBE to lose?
Clarity and noise reduction is fantastic. It allows me to move about the office (or home) without worrying about losing a connection. An the RED mute button is super convenient.

The Voyager 4310UC is a single speaker headset that can be worn over the left or right ear.
Set up was easy, but nowhere does is tell you that you can connect to your mobile via the Plantronics Hub Mobile app. On the back of the set-up card it states you can download the Poly App. But that is not supported by mobile yet. I also cannot download any apps onto my work computer where I use Teams, so I am unable to test that out.
Connected flawlessly to my laptop with the included USB adapter and demonstrated exceptional range in and around the home office.
The controls on the headset are easy to access while wearing. The Mute button on the boom makes it easy to locate.
Calls were crystal clear on my end and on the receiving end. With the noise cancelling technology they hear little or no background interference.
Bluetooth connectivity to my mobile device was a nice feature as well. Now I can wear one device for work and my personal cell throughout the day. The headset will automatically switch to a call from a connected device.
The integration with Microsoft Teams works very well.
I also have an older Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth headset that I really like for comfort, but the Voyager 4310UC has more then 3x the battery life, and I believe the audio is a bit better as well.
Overall, the Voyager 4310UC is great choice for people like me who spend all day on Microsoft Teams calls.

Excellent for Home or Business Office

The Poly Voyager Wireless Headset is perfect for Home office or Business Office. It’s comfortable and easy to use. The only drawback is the placement of the On/Off switch. It’s not easily accessible as it’s located on the bottom of the earpiece.
The Voyager headset comes with the headset, USB Bluetooth adapter, USB-C to USB-A cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter, User Quick Start Guide, and nylon drawstring carry pouch.
The headset Bluetooth connected quickly and easily to my Laptop and Smartphone. It came fully charged and ready to pair. When turn on, a prompt tells you that the headset is on and the status of the battery.
The earpiece and head piece are well padded and comfortable and the headband is adjustable to fit any size head. The microphone piece has a mute button on it which is convenient during video conferencing. The Voyager Headset works extremely well for Zoom and Microsoft Team meetings. It’s noise cancelling ability works to a point. Due to the fact that it only has one earpiece you can hear some outside noise. However, even with outside noise, it’s still very clear during phone calls and video calls.
They Poly Voyager Wireless Headset has a long wireless range. So far, I can walk around my apartment and outside and still have no issues with the calls falling or breaking up.
SPECS:
- Up to 47 hours listening time
- Up to 24 hours talk time
- Up to 164ft/50m wireless range
- Quick charge 15min for 10 hours
- Can be used with either Bluetooth or as a corded headset
So far, I have used it for 8 one-hour Zooms and several phone conferences (approximately 4 hours) and the battery is still “high”. I don’t know yet exactly how long the charge will last. Only time will tell.
Cons:
- The Plantronics/Poly Voyager Wireless Headset is the location of the on/off switch. I wish it
were a little higher up on the earpiece to make access easier.
- It is a little pricey as compared to other headsets in its class, but I found it to one of the best
sets I’ve had so far.
I recommend the Plantronics/Poly Voyager Headset for those who will be using it frequently for home or business.

Exactly a year after purchasing this headset, the USB dongle stopped working. I have a fully charged headset without connecting to my laptop. The only reason I came to my purchase and provided this review was to check if it was still under warranty. I was six days too late.

Much like many office workers I have been working from home for the last 2 years. I have used a few headsets, both wired and bluetooth and most recently have been using a corded Plantronics Blackwire 3210 USB Type-A provided by our IT department for its compatibility with Microsoft Teams. Unfortunately they didn’t offer wireless connectivity so I couldn’t always step away from the computer during meetings. That’s where the new Plantronics Voyager 4310 UC Series comes in. It offers both wired USB-A or USB-C and bluetooth connectivity. Moreover it is certified for Microsoft Teams and works flawlesly with it. I’ve also used it w/Zoom and WebEx.
I first used it in a corded capacity to fully charge it, after which I paired it to the laptop’s built-in bluetooth which worked just as well. Then I installed the Poly Lens app and the BT700 bluetooth wireless adapter that extended the range even further. I can now go downstairs to the kitchen on the other side of the house to make another coffee or grab a snack while in a meeting without the fear of getting disconnected or losing sound quality.
Another great feature that works really well is background noise cancellation that’s made possible by Poly’s Acoustic Fence Technology. That comes in handy at least once a week when the neighbors' landscapers are making a lot of noise mowing the lawns. I’ve apologized to people in meetings for the noise and they didn’t know what I was talking about, that’s how good the noise-canceling dual microphone is.
Battery life is also great - I’ve used the Voyager 4310 UC for several hours per day for a whole week on a single charge, so I can just plug it in to charge it over the weekend and not have to worry about it all week.
Build quality is top notch, light weight, comfortable and with intuitive controls for volume, play/pause, next track, answer/hang-up, mute, even Siri or Google assistant when paired with your iPhone or Android phone. The only feature that I would have liked would be a LED on the tip of the mic itself that could go red when mute is on. Not that big a deal, since it actually speaks to you and literally says “Mute On”. All in all a versatile upgrade for my day-to-day working from home office needs.

These headphones aren’t good for driving. I only had these for one day. I returned after noticing the pc connection part. They may be better for computer pairing. Seems cheaply made and I used them for one day. Every time I called someone there were patches of silence when someone was talking. No connectivity issues.

Overall:
- Battery - AMAZING
- Sound - Decent for a single-ear
- Mic - No complaints from clients/coworkers (I do wish this offered mic playback)
- Bluetooth - No drops/cut outs, even while walking around a ~3,000sqft home
- Buttons - Could offer more, or create a software to program what the buttons do. Stuck with volume up/down, mute/unmute, and answer/hang-up ONLY.
- Quality: Top notch. Lightweight, comfortable. Hard plastic, soft pleather.
Purchased this to use for my Telehealth work from home. So far it's operating amazingly. It links with Zoom and Teams, so if you press the button in the center it will open either app for you and answer/hang-up calls. The microphone also has a mute button, which mutes the software itself automatically. I've been using it wirelessly this past week and it's still telling me "Battery High" every time I turn it on, so I'm assuming within my ~40+ hour work week, I can get 3 or more weeks out of a single charge, which is incredible! It's comfortable and lightweight, no neck/head fatigue whatsoever (and I have a pretty big head), no ear fatigue/heat (also big ears), microphone is bendable and can rotate up or down, not much more to ask for from a business headset!

his Poly Voyager 4310 is excellent for anyone who takes calls all day or drives frequently. The sound quality is super clear, and the microphone picks up my voice perfectly without background noise. The noise cancelling works really well, even in noisy environments or inside the truck.
Battery life lasts all day, and it connects quickly to my phone and laptop. It’s lightweight and comfortable, even for long hours of use. Definitely a must-have for business calls or hands-free work!

Working at home with my wife can be a challenge. I prefer to take my Zoom and Teams calls without headphones but she gets annoyed by the loud volume….and you know it’s too loud when she starts replying to people that I work with! I’m fine wearing a headset, but I hate wires, and I don’t like talking when both ears are covered…it just sounds weird to me.
There aren’t a TON of options out there with one earpiece and and a boom mic but I liked how light this Plantronics voyager looked so I thought I’d give it a try.
Performance: All 4 stars are given because the quality of performance is fantastic. The set-up was easy like any other Bluetooth device, build quality is good, sound quality is great. I can hear other clearly and feedback from the other end has been positive. As a noise cancelling single ear headset goes it does what it intends to do.
Comfort and practicality is where I would suggest some improvements. I have a big head and granted, it’s probably larger than the average consumer, but I have to extend it all the way and I could still use an extra half-inch. The other issue I have is that the mute function should be tied to whether the mic is up/down. The boom mic raises and lowers. Raise it to mute, lower it to unmute. That’s how it should work. Always. I don’t need a small button and an audio prompt. Sometimes simple is better.

A FANTASTIC Plantronics Headset!

Having worked from home the last 2+ years, I have learned there is an absolute necessity for a good quality, comfortable, functional headset - and the Platronics Voyager 4310 doesn't disappoint!
This is likely my fourth or fifth Plantronics device and they just keep getting better and better! This over-the-head single ear with boom mic device impressed me quite a bit.
Sounds - both on my end and feedback from my team members' end - excellent. Clear, just loud enough, crisp sound is perfect for meetings and conversations. The single ear design with noise cancellation technology is a little bit unusual - it does indeed drown out background noise/feedback like a fan running ... but with only one ear, it felt kind of unusual. I imagine, with time, this will become less noticeable.
The lighting is both a pro and a con. The pro - when using the headset, the LED lights up to let others know you are on a Teams/WebEx/Zoom call. The con? The charging lights are hard to figure out. They blink a few times every few seconds while charging and then go out completely when the charge is complete. I prefer a consistently "on" charge indicator, but this is also something I'll get used to.
Overall, A+ Plantronics on the device. The app (for Mac OS) and iPhone is less than I'd like - but that will get better over time. (P.S. Don't bother with the Lens app on a Mac)

Searched for a while for a headset to work from home that would help cut out background noise while also making me come in clearer to colleagues. I love that the battery has lasted throughout the day to only go down to 75% when my airpods would have died twice by now and not be as clear. Definitely recommend. Comfortable to wear with glasses as well. Only part I wish is that when I turn it off my sound would still come through my regular speakers. I haven't found a way to do that without unpairing from the pc all together. I'm in too many meetings throughout to day to pair/unpair repeatedly.

it's a solid choice for remote work, though it has its quirks. The comfort level is impressive; the ear cushions are soft and the adjustable headband ensures a snug fit without causing discomfort during long hours of use. The sound quality is clear and crisp, making it great for listening to conference calls, webinars, and music during breaks.
One of the standout features is the noise-canceling microphone, which is supposed to filter out background noise. For the most part, it performs well. However, there have been occasional issues with call quality. Some of my colleagues have mentioned that my voice can sound distant or muffled at times, despite my best efforts to adjust the microphone's position. This inconsistency can be frustrating during important meetings where clear communication is crucial.
The headset is easy to set up and connects seamlessly via USB, which is a plus for those who aren't particularly tech-savvy. It also comes with convenient inline controls for volume adjustment and muting the microphone, which are intuitive and handy.
