This is my second Plantation Bluetooth. I had the edge that lasted a little less than a year but so thankful I purchased the best buy protection plan. I was able to pay the difference and get the latest and greatest from Plantation. So far I really like it. It has a great battery life. I did not purchase the portable charger but so far I still have plenty of battery life at the end of the day. It does occasionally lose signal and say phone not found or something like that and I am sitting right next to my phone so that is annoying sometimes but I just go to settings on my Iphone and reconnect so not a big deal. Has great sound quality and everyone can hear me great. I wear my Bluetooth continuously throughout the day and I forget I have it on so it is pretty comfortable.

It would be a 5 star but the earbud is too big. My previous earpiece had an extender by the ear and that had broke. So I was looking for a solid one, which this is. It will fit either ear and has extra ear cushions. The ones provided are quite firm but they do have some give. The smallest one is still too big for my ear. When wearing I have it sit or lay on the top of my earlobe to the cannel and I can still hear it really well. The clarity is outstanding. Battery life is great. I also bought the case to hold it & charge it when not in use. I charged the case once about a month ago, and that has been enough to keep the earpiece charged. Well worth the case. When this one bites the dust, I will definitely search out the newer version of this one.

I bought a lot of bluetooth headsets, and by far it is the best even it looks a bit larger then a regular headset and a bit pricey, it actually feels good on my ear. And I lost a lot of the small ones away in the past. Most importantly, you and others you're calling can tell no different if you're using a landline, and no lags or drops at all. Wonderful Bluetooth signal and noise cancelling engineering, really worth even pennies you spent on this headset. And I use it listening to my music on my iPhone during in the office, the battery does last long enough for my work hours. It get some uses to find a perfect position on your ear, and once you find it, you won't even feel it hanging there much. I also recommend to get the case charger too.

While driving a tractor trailer I use this product. It works very well. It stays connected for 30 feet at minimum. I am able to hear well and be heard very good. It is comfortable to wear. You can shop on line like ebay, and add the foam pads to the in ear piece to make more comfortable. Personally I prefer this product over the large around the head devices. Fully charged is good for about 6 hours. I recommend the device. Hands free dialing and text works with Google android.

This was purchased for daily use since I have to commute to work that is almost an hour each way. And during the day I have to be able to have my hands free since I work managing construction and can't be bothered with holding my phone when I need to be outside doing work that always involves my hands. So this not only is used for driving, it is used for work. So I wear it over 10 hours a day. The comfort is wonderful and I don't even realize I have it on most of the time. The ability to answer calls by voice command is excellent as well because I don't have to fumble with my phone, just say "answer", so this function is sweet. I also have my work phone and personal phone connected at the same time which is nice. But I will say it really doesn't work well with my work phone since it is an Apple phone. I was never keen on Apple since you have to pretty much use something that is Apple to work with Apple phones. Since Plantronics isn't an Apple product, don't expect it to function at it's full capacity with an Apple phone. Apple sucks in my opinion. I have had this earpiece for several years now and works great. Only thing is I wish it came with different ear pieces that would actual go inside the ear area better. And have an addition one so it can be replaced since it does crack and tare after time. But remember, I have had it for a long time and still used daily today. Battery life is excellent, it lasts for days and charges quickly and tells you how many hours of talk time you have when you turn it on.

After using this product for about three months, I think I can give a decent review of this product. As stated it is very light, I still find myself checking to make sure it is still on my ear. Battery life ends up being about six hours. But with the charging case you can get close to eighteen hours by charging it periodically. Would have given five stars but I took one away because it just sits on the outside of your ear so the feel is different and will take some getting use to. But all in all still a good product and I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a Bluetooth ear piece.

During my research for a wireless/Bluetooth style headset for on the go travel, this unit kept popping up on the radar. My initial thought was skepticism because of its small size and in single ear setup. To my surprise, this device has lived up to its grand reviews. FIT: There a different sized earbuds to fit 90% of ears out there. You can setup the device to fit right or left ear. Being super light, I barely notice it after having it on for hours at a time. BATTERY: Spectacular! Lasts 6+ hours of talk time. I have had it on and powered for many of my road travels (6+ hours) including using it for calls and meetings throughout the entire day (10+ hours). I do connect it to the charger in the car or at my computer when I’m not in need to be talking. Typically that is only for 20-30 minutes during those instances. But, it charges the device enough that I have never been concerned about running out of power. NOISE CANCELLATION: Super good! Driving in my pickup truck, with a loud exhaust, my callers ask if I’m at the office. I’ve tested it walking outside in downtown with city sounds all around, everyone could still hear me clearly with very little, if any noise from the city. OVERALL: I use this device with two phones (iPhone 13 and XS) along with my work laptop (Lenovo laptop). I did purchase a Bluetooth usb (ASUS BT400) for my laptop rather than using the crappy built in Bluetooth connection. It is a night/day difference and I highly suggest buying one if you plan to pair this with a laptop. Lastly, make sure you update the firmware. This is important to ensure all sensors and connectivity settings are taken advantage of. I am very satisfied and have already recommended to my colleagues.

Excellet ptoduct, holds charge for a long time and no background noise worth the price.

This has been my favorite for several years. My husband purchased this replacement for me @ Xmas. I enjoy the comfort since it doesn’t sit too deep into my ear yet is stable with the over ear design. I have been able to wear for hours and keep one 5200 in the house and keep one in my car. I like the option of wearing while driving so I can feel safe if I need to answer an incoming call, but have used it to send quick messages using Siri too. The noise cancelling feature is convenient at home when I am cooking, sitting on hold, and on a walk it helps to climate wind or traffic noises too. My request would be a different color than black!!! I was shopping for something similar before replacing since - it would make it easier to locate when I set it down, drop it when outside or when I drop it on the carpet in my car!!! Love it and would enjoy red or blue 5200!!!!

This is my 3rd plantronics bluetooth. It performs well , sounds great. and is lightweight. I don't like anything in my ears so this works great for me. It's so light, I literally forget it's on my ear. My only negative is I lose them , especially when masks were enforced. I never had one to stop working.

Good item for the price. Love the fact that background noise seems to vanish while speaking through the headset. Easy bluetooth connection to cell phone or laptop. Good sound quality and long battery life/talk time. Range from device is nowhere near what is advertised, 96 feet?? I would say closer to 30-40 feet. But generally not an issue, after all how far are you going to be from your phone? I like it and woul buy this item again!

Great headset for someone who doesn't like to hold their phone up during calls. Calls are crisp, and I use it to play music sometimes while shopping. Battery life is good, but for some reason it requires a USB A to charge unless you have the cradle which costs extra.

I didn’t like this headset. The sound quality was good, but it was too small for my ear.

The Plantronics Voyager connects quick. It also provides high quality sound and does filter out road noise for my phone connections. And at five plus hours talk time and seemingly endless wait time can last for days on one charge for phone use. Lately I've taken to using it to hear my TV, while my wife prefers a lower sound setting that I do not hear. Since it's light weight, goes on one hear (as opposed to head phones), and has great sound it is the perfect solution for mis-matched volume needs. Highly recommend.

I use a wheelchair everyday so a bluetooth headset is a must. (otherwise holding my phone to my ear would be a circular exercise) This headset is comfortable. Actually I've been using Plantronics for years and I have tested all the new high end headsets and I still land on Plantronics. The 5200 has everything I need. 1) Amazing microphone - I can even ride my hancycle at 20 mph and people can hear me great! 2) battery life 3) access to the buttons I need on the headset 4) over the ear so it does not fall off! Love it Love it Love it. I recommend this to everyone who sound quality is a factor.

This headset has worked great for conference calls as well as voiceovers on videos. I'd buy this again and would recommend it to anyone needing this functionality. The controls are simple, the battery lasts a bit over 6 hours new and it's comfortable to wear with unlimited movement and adjustments. Clarity on the headset is good to listen to others and others say the sound quality is good on their end too. It would be nice if Best Buy carried the Plantronics rechargeable case/stand (recommended also) but it was available on Amazon.

Sound quality is good and microphone is very solid even with background noise. Used Bose headphones before but the microphone quality was horrible on Bluetooth for business calls. The battery life is about 6 hours of talk time on a single charge which is respectable. Very happy so far.

I have used many different styles and models of headsets for talking on the telephone without holding the phone to my ear. After may years of corded and Bluetooth styles, the Voyager 5220 Bluetooth Headset has proven itself head and shoulders above the rest. Unequaled noise cancelling and clarity along with a superior battery life makes me buy this over and over. Multitasking, working in the yard, bicycling is effortless. It is so comfortable to wear, I forget I'm wearing it until the phone rings!

This is the only over the ear Bluetooth I've used for the past 6-7yrs. Nothing has changed and I'm actually glad about that cause it works great!!! Even on the freeway, with open windows, I can have a conversation and the peraon Im talking to doesnt even know it. They hear no wind noise. No bacground talk or voices. High pitch sounds do make it thru to the caller but, that's even rare! It has a pretty good range as well. I can be across the house and it's still rock solid! The only downside is the 6hr talk time. After about 1.5yrs, the battery doeant seem to hold as good of a charge, but then again, I use this daily and ALOT!!! Sometimes I even listen to music with it, and no one even knows. Lol

I strictly use this for noise cancelation. The call quality is great, the distance you can be from your phone is great, and the comfort in my ear is great. Those are all subjectively rated as high as any other headset, especially in this price range. But most of all I use this when I'm around loud equipment. The limitation is if it is so loud that someone next to you couldn't make out what you're saying very well, but next to jawbone and the bose headset series 2, this one takes the cake. Your voice will become a little robotic sounding when foreign noise is really loud, but you can still be made out. Wind is also negated at speeds around 20 mph and under. Above and your results may vary. I've not had trouble in large gusts, and sometimes I have, but thats ok. I don't know what else they can do to remove it short of putting a cat tail on the boom. Overall I would say this is the best headset you can buy if you plan on being in even a mildly noisy environment.
